The Foothills (Non-Virgin Route).

Small creeks ran from the upper portion of the mountain down past the nature and into a river just below. Glancing around at the nature and the seemingly endless of array of stars that filled the night sky would have been a really beautiful and relaxing scene. At least, maybe if you weren't naked, shivering in the cold as you made your way towards a city that could be filled with enemies, all in the hopes of sanctuary. You silently curse the bastard who botched your summoning once more as your feet have long since gone numb in the cold, and now damp, descent down the mountainside. You're exhausted now, your breaths coming in more labored gasps than before, chipping away at the very stone of the mountain and climbing down it for miles, in a small and untrained body, was all beginning to show its limitations.

You need to rest, and there is nothing for it but to do so, but you also know that resting in these foothills with all of the nearby caves could be detrimental. So, despite your exhaustion you continue down the hillside. Climbing and lowering through the hills and around the brush, down shallow and steep slopes together, all in the hopes of reaching the city in the distance. Help from whomever might be living there will be your only hope. After what feels like another couple hours of travel you are now reaching the end of the foothills, there is a kilometer or two of farmland left between you and the strange distant city, all open field. You aren't particularly happy about that reality, but it beats being slaughtered or ****.

You leave the safety of the brush behind and start to head closer to the city, the silhouette of large imposing walls now shows itself in the distance. And as you grow closer, remaining low to the ground in case some monster or man happens to be out and about in this seemingly unending night, you notice there are two gates before you. One towards your left and one to the right. An easy decision it might seem, but you aren't familiar with the town, the location, or the people. Anything could happen at either gate. You wish you had some equipment, or any of your powers for use. But alas you have nothing now, but your wits.
