The Flight

The loud smack immediately draws the attention of nearby swimmers and lifeguards. Heads turn, and whispers start to spread among the pool-goers. Lucy, still hidden behind the potted plant, curses under her breath as she tries to keep filming discreetly.

A lifeguard approaches the group with a stern expression. "Excuse me, ladies, what’s going on here?"

Jessica, Amanda, and Kelly exchange nervous glances, their laughter fading as they realize they’ve been caught. The camera captures their moment of panic, their eyes darting around for an escape route.

Jessica thinks quick, and tryes to act casual. "Oh, nothing! Just a little game with the pool noodles."

Amanda nods quickly. "Yeah, just having some fun."

The lifeguard isn’t convinced and continues to approach them. The three women look at each other, and without a word, they make a split-second decision to flee.

Jessica grabs Amanda’s hand, and Amanda grabs Kelly’s, and they bolt towards the exit, pool noodles in tow. Lucy, realizing the situation has escalated, quickly follows them, trying to remain unseen.

The camera captures shaky, fast-paced footage of their escape, showing glimpses of the startled faces of other swimmers and the lifeguard trying to keep up. The women weave through the lounge chairs and tables, their laughter returning as the adrenaline kicks in.

They burst through the doors of the pool area and sprint down the hallway, still holding onto their pool noodles. Finally, they reach the changing rooms, where the male lifeguard cannot follow them. They collapse in fits of giggles, out of breath but exhilarated by the close call.

The video ends with a final shot of the three women, hiding in the changing rooms, their faces flushed with excitement. Jessica, Amanda, and Kelly look at the camera, still laughing and catching their breath.

"That was close! But totally worth it!"

"Definitely! That was the most fun we’ve had in ages!"
