The Fifth Morning

Chapter 28 by PhoenixAuthor PhoenixAuthor

Zack woke up with arms wrapped loosely around him. His head was pillowed on a bountiful pair of breasts. Zack opened his eyes and looked up to see his mother gazing down at him lovingly.

“Hey, Mom.” Zack groaned, and flopped over so that he laid face down atop his mother, rather than on his back.

Monica’s breasts squashed against his chest, and Zack definitely enjoying that feeling.

“Hi, baby.” Monica whispered, and Zack leaned down to kiss her. The kiss was soft and gentle. Her hands slid down his back, and Zack gave a surprised gasp as his mother flipped the two of them over, so that she was on top.

Monica smiled down at him, and Zack was struck by how gorgeous she was, even without make up.

“This is nice.” Zack smiled. She gave a soft laugh, and nuzzled his cheek with her nose.

“Yeah, it is.” Monica agreed. Zack wrapped his arms tightly around her, and she leaned down to kiss him again. Footsteps came quickly, and Monica quickly rolled off of Zack.

“You’re asleep.” she whispered urgently, and Zack flopped over onto his side, facing Monica and turning his back to the door. He closed his eyes and kept his breathing regular as he feigned sleeping.

The door opened.

“Oh! Monica, sorry. I didn’t realize Zack was here. Wait... why is Zack here?” Sarah’s voice asked quietly. Zack found himself hoping his mother’s answer didn’t make him look pathetic.

“I asked him to come last night. To discuss the camping trip, and he fell asleep. Guess he was more tired than he claimed.” Monica laughed.

“Too many late nights with his girlfriends, I’m guessing.” Sarah said dryly, and then it sounded like she stepped out of the bedroom and closed the door.

Zack remained fake sleeping for a minute or so, until he felt his mother’s lips brush his.

“All clear.” she whispered against his lips. Zack opened his eyes and found that his mother had laid her voluptuous body right in front of his body, and millimeters separated the two of them. Zack scooted across the distance and then Monica’s breasts were squashed against his chest, a feeling that was rapidly becoming one of Zack’s favorites.

The mother and son kissed for a while more, simply enjoying their ability to do so.

“This is a wonderful way to wake up, sweetie, but you need to go. I wish I could spend all morning with you, but...” Monica murmured, and ran her finger up his forearm, “we can’t.”

“Alright.” Zack nodded, and pressed his lips to hers one last time before he climbed out of bed and headed out of his mother’s bedroom, walking as if he had just woken up as he headed back towards his bedroom.

He found Heather sitting on the couch, curled up with a book and a cup of coffee.

“You read?” Zack grinned at his girlfriend. She lifted an eyebrow.

“Aren’t you coming from the wrong hallway?” she countered.

“Yeah. Mom called me to her room to talk about the camping trip. I fell asleep, I guess.” Zack shrugged. Heather looked at him skeptically, and Zack abruptly remembered that she’d been the one to notice Monica watching Zack and Heather have sex, and now Zack just so happened to spend the night in her room.

Zack chose to ignore Heather’s suggestive look, and simply nodded to her before heading back to his bedroom.

He discovered that Paris was still asleep, which was fortunate. Zack grabbed a change of clothes and then he headed into the bathroom.

———

When Zack emerged from the bathroom, he was freshly showered, wearing new clothes, and felt refreshed.

He noticed that Paris was STILL sleeping, and he grinned at her sleeping form. Admittedly, he stared at the way his cousin’s large breasts rose and fell with each breath she took.

He then realized he was proving on his sleeping cousin, and quickly left the bedroom.

He headed down the hall and into the living room, where some people had began to gather.

Brooke had come and sat beside Heather. Taylor and Hannah, the latter looking exhausted, were sharing a loveseat. Sarah was in the kitchen making a cup of coffee, and Daniel was visible out on the deck, his wife leaning against him.

“Hey, Zack.” Brooke smiled at him.

“Hey, Mrs... I mean, uh, Brooke.” Zack grinned at her. He kept forgetting she’d asked to be simply called Brooke.

Robert Ravers came into the room hurriedly.

“Is something wrong, Dad?” Heather questioned. Robert shook his head at his daughter.

“Not exactly. But we’re almost out of food supplies, and toilet paper. Who feels like going on a run into town?” Robert asked the group.

“I can go.” Zack offered.

“You don’t have a car.” Robert reminded him.

“I’ll take Mom’s.” Zack shrugged.

“Or, I could drive.” Taylor spoke up. Robert looked relieved at that idea.

“Good idea, Taylor. You’re a better driver than Zack, and these roads are not easy to drive on.” Robert said. Zack pretended to be a bit frustrated at that idea.

“I’m a perfectly capable driver!” Zack protested.

“No you’re not, Zacky.” Hannah shook her head. Zack winced at the incident he assumed she was thinking of, when he’d taken out Harmony Wright’s mailbox. Monica had been mortified, while Taylor and Hannah in the backseat couldn’t stop laughing.

“So, should we go get supplies now?” Taylor inquired.

“Probably. Zack’s going on a camping trip soon, so the sooner the better. In the meantime, I’m going to go make some pancakes.” Robert shrugged. Then he headed into the kitchen.

“Alright. You ready to go, Zack?” Taylor asked, standing.

“Sure, why not?” Zack shrugged. Taylor nodded and headed in the direction of Monica’s room, to get her keys from her presumedly.

Zack headed towards the front door and almost bumped into Victoria.

“Hey, Tori. Feel like I haven’t seen you in a while.” Zack smiled, and gave her a peck on the lips.

Victoria looked surprised at that, but she gave him a warm smile, and then she gave him a lengthier kiss. Zack grinned at the blond girl and then stepped around her, heading towards the front door.

He opened it and headed out towards the cars. He remembered the drive up which started this insane trip. He had his best friend in his lap for the drive up, and now, a mere five days later, he’d taken Chloe’s virginity and they were happily dating.

Life was weird sometimes.

Taylor came out with Monica’s car keys in her hand. She pushed the button to unlock the car, and Zack hopped in the passenger seat.

Taylor climbed up in the driver’s seat, and leaned over to give Zack a quick kiss.

“Good morning, little brother.” she smiled teasingly.

“Morning, sis.” Zack grinned at her.

Taylor pulled the car out into the cabin’s yard, then backed up and around the line of cars, whipped the car around in the side driveway and then she drove down the gravel road leading away from the cabin.

———

Taylor drove into Argentum, the village that was closest to the lake they were staying. She drove past the ranger station, and then she pulled into the grocery store parking lot. Before Zack could move, Taylor had unbuckled and slid across the car so that she sat squarely in his lap, facing him.

“Tay...” Zack groaned.

He had his big sister’s amazing ass was in his lap, and as she leaned in to kiss him, her breasts pressed against his chest.

Zack placed his hands on Taylor’s back as the siblings passionately kissed, and Zack loved the feeling of her lips against his.

“I love you.” Taylor whispered, and started kissing along his jaw, and then his throat. Zack groaned.

“I love you, too, Taylor.” he managed.

Saying it to Taylor felt simultaneously natural and completely foreign, because they both meant it in new ways than they had a week ago.

But it was true, nonetheless. Zack did love Taylor, in a myriad of ways. As a sister, as a friend, and now, as something akin to a lover, despite them not having had sex yet.

“We should go into the store.” Zack breathed, and Taylor nodded, before giving him one last long kiss.

“Ok. Now we can go in.” Taylor said.

Zack opened the passenger side door, and Taylor hopped out first, and then Zack followed. An older couple flashed them a knowing grin, and Zack gave them a sheepish smile, while Taylor threaded her fingers through his.

Zack gaped at her.

“What? We’re hours away from our hometown. It’s not like we know anyone here.” Taylor shrugged. Zack could admit she had a good point. So, hand in hand with his older sister, Zack walked into the grocery store.

It was a weird experience, being able to act like a couple, rather than siblings. Taylor nudged his shoulder playfully at times, and she even gave him a few quick kisses whenever she felt like it. He could get used to being with Taylor like this. Like she was his girlfriend. He did have to carry the basket of food, so that wasn’t exactly awesome.

After grabbing a couple of food items, plus a lot of toilet paper, the siblings headed towards check out.

They checked out no problem, and Zack and Taylor headed out into the parking lot, where Taylor immediately dropped his hand. Zack frowned at her, and then he saw why.

Susan Rivera and her daughter, Lisa, were walking across the parking lot. Zack prayed they didn’t notice him, because Lisa was his only ever ex-girlfriend.

She was the girl he lost his virginity to, and then she’d broken his heart merely weeks later.

“Zack!” Lisa called out, and Zack’s heart sank.

He looked up to see her walking towards him. Taylor frowned at Lisa, but she just wordlessly took the bags Zack carried from him and carried them to the car, giving Zack a moment alone with his ex.

Lisa Rivera was 18, like Zack. She had long, wavy black hair and kind chocolate brown eyes. She also sported a rack that was about equal with Paris’, and had a curvy ass that was truly exemplary. Zack had had his hands on it a couple times, and, well, he couldn’t deny its’ appeal.

She was the kind of girl who was friends with everyone, and she was close with Madison Cole, in particular. She’d been friends with Chloe, too, until Lisa and Zack had broken up and Chloe had told Lisa in no uncertain terms that she wasn’t going to be her friend anymore because Zack was her best friend. Zack had been stunned at the steel in her voice when she did that, and had been very proud of his shy best friend.

“Hey, Lisa.” Zack said.

“What’s new with you?” Lisa asked curiously, and stood in a way that had one of her wide hips thrust out. She was a curvy girl, Zack couldn’t deny that.

“Uh, not much. I’m dating Chloe now.” Zack shrugged.

“Really? I wasn’t aware you knew that she had a thing for you.” Lisa remarked.

“You knew, too?” Zack winced. Lisa laughed, and Zack remembered just how musical her laugh was.

“Yeah, everyone knew, except you.” Lisa winked.

“Well, I’m not always the most observant.” Zack shrugged. Lisa nodded.

“I remember.” she said, but not harshly. Almost... wistfully.

“What about you? Dating anybody?” Zack asked, trying to deflect quickly.

“No. Lots of guys have tried, but... I’ve been busy with school, anyway.” Lisa shook her head. That rung false in Zack’s ears, but he wasn’t going to comment on it.

“Alright. Well, uh, it was good seeing you.” Zack said a bit awkwardly.

“You, too.” Lisa said, much more sincerely. Zack gave her an awkward smile, and headed towards the car.

He climbed in the passenger seat, and Taylor glanced at him.

“Lisa, huh? She’s curvier than I remembered.” Taylor said off-handedly.

“I guess.” Zack said, while privately, he’d been thinking the same thing.

“She looked pretty happy to see you.” Taylor said in that casual tone again.

“Yeah, she did.” Zack agreed.

He glanced at his older sister, and saw the mask of calm she was wearing.

“Are you... jealous?” Zack grinned.

“Shut up, Zack.” Taylor scoffed, her mask faltered.

“You are, aren’t you?” Zack realized.

“Of course I am! You have four girlfriends who are so amazing that they’re impossible to hate, and you’re clearly in love with them, and now your ex shows up and is thrilled to see you? I mean, c’mon, Zack. I knew this wasn’t going to be a public relationship but I didn’t think it would hurt so much seeing you with other girls!” Taylor snapped. Zack frowned at his sister.

“Tay, I didn’t...” Zack trailed off, but Taylor clearly didn’t want to talk. She just put the car into reverse and started driving.

———

The ride home was made in stony silence, and Zack hated every second of it. He made several attempts to speak to her, but she shut him down each time.

When Taylor pulled up behind the line of cars, she hopped out and walked straight towards the cabin.

Zack didn’t dare ask her to carry in the groceries, so he gathered everything up and headed into the cabin. It wasn’t heavy, just cumbersome, with all of those bags and the big toilet paper packages.

As he approached the closed front door, Zack began to wonder how he’d open it without dropping everything, when the door opened.

Ashley opened the door, and gave Zack a sympathetic smile.

“Older sisters can be hard to deal with.” she said, and took two bags from him.

“Tell me about it.” Zack said glumly.

Zack and Ashley carried the bags inside, and Zack discovered that Robert had indeed whipped up a pancake breakfast.

“Damn, these look good.” Zack commented, looking with interest at the plates of pancakes.

“Take ‘em if you want some.” Robert invited. Zack set down the bags and proceeded to do so.

“Do you have syrup?” he inquired.

“Yup.” Robert pointed out onto the dining room table, where bottles of syrup sat. Also at the table sat Grace Smith and Audrey Ravers, on opposite sides, however.

Zack took his plate over to the table, and sat down opposite Grace.

She gave him a surprised look.

“Hey, Grace. We haven’t talked a whole lot since you got here.” Zack shrugged.

“Yeah, well, you’ve seemed kind of busy.” Grace shrugged back. Zack chuckled.

“That’s for sure.” Zack said.

Grace finished up her pancakes quickly and then practically fled the table, heading towards the guest house where her family resided. The Smiths did seem to be their own little self-contained group. Pietra and Hannah were friendly, as was Helena and the other older women, but the Smith family didn’t seem too keen on joining the party, which made sense, in a way.

They were trying to have their own summer vacation, but there’d been a problem with the cabin they were trying to rent, and they’d had to stay here, in Robert’s guesthouse.

Zack finished his pancakes in peace, and then Sarah Woodsen walked into the dining room. She was dressed in a white tank top that clearly showed off her black sports bra, and the kind of sporty shorts that women wore to gyms.

“You ready to leave, Zack?” Sarah asked.

“Uh, no. I haven’t packed, like, anything.” Zack admitted. Sarah laughed.

“You only need enough clothes for tomorrow and today, and then a water bottle. I’m sure your mom packed enough sunscreen for an army, so we’re good on that front. Brooke made sandwiches, as well, so that’s handled as well.” Sarah said.

“Alright. Let me go grab some clothes, then.” Zack said, and stood up from the table.
