What's next?
The Faith of Lucretia.
Eleanor was one of the first initiates of the River's Edge monastery, and she was the most eager. The faith of Lucretia was one dominated by women, it being one of the only faiths that focuses nearly entirely upon them. Many women have a special place in their heart for Lucretia, and those that are aware of her sometimes keep idols, one with wide hips and large breasts, usually adorned with a small smile upon her fair face. However, the faith of Lucretia isn't one with universal warm feelings. Many other faiths perceive Lucretia as the goddess of women of loose morals and the more puritan faiths even regard the faith as little more than a sex cult, and challenge the priests and priestesses of Lucretia openly. Further, and darker, some of the more uneducated types might see the faith as a celebration of sex and thus take the existence of a priestess as an open invitation to take what they want sexually from her. Lucretia hates ****, and punishes rapists and murderers the same. Still, the support from near half the population is more powerful than the condemnation from a few old stuffy men and their acolytes, and the faith thrives to this day, as Eleanor thrived under it. She studied the scripture every day, but the young initiate returned home every night, unlike her peers, wanting to see her mother again. As she grew up in the faith's care, the idea of being an adventurer slowly crystallised into being her ultimate dream. She wanted to be one of those heroines in the stories, she wanted to be out there smiting evil, protecting the needy and healing the wounded. These ideas only pushed her further into her studies, and made her excel. Eventually, when she turned 18 and had matured into an optimistic, strong-willed and kind woman, Eleanor was made into an official member of the faith.
