The Fair

Alexa bit her lip. “Hey, there’s a local fair in town. Can we go there?”

Diane nodded. “Okay, but I’ll need to get some sunscreen. It may be cloudy, but I don’t need you getting burnt too.”

Alexa nodded as Diane brought Alexa to the car and loaded her in. They drove for a bit until they ended up at the drug store. Diane went in for sunblock but came back with bags of diapers, a few creams, soap, and shampoo. “I thought you were getting sunblock?” Alexa said.

“They were having a discount on these,” Diane said. “So I took the opportunity.”

Alexa nodded. “Okay.”

Diane then drove off heading to the fair.
