Where did the lamp land?
The Emerald Forest, during the first test.
The lamp was nestled in the grass amongst some trees, awaiting new developments. It was mildly concerned that no one would find it for a while, given the secluded nature of where it landed, but it could sense multiple people nearby, so it had hope it wouldn't need to expend energy to move somewhere else to share its delights.
A few other beings approached it, curiously, a few even striking it and biting at it to no effect. Creatures that seemed drawn to its unique energy, albeit the attraction was faint and only seemed to draw those nearby. The lamp was a bit annoyed at their presence, and enraged, or rather, what passed for such emotions for it, once it detected their nature. Beings of pure destruction, not even technically alive in the same sense as other beings.
Now it was truly impatient for someone to find it. These beings were anathema to its own nature, and it did not wish to suffer their presence for even a moment longer than it had to. It might even refrain from making the person who found it a genie if it was empty, at least until after it had been moved away from the area, unless someone else was nearby to claim the new genie immediately.
Who ends up finding it? And is it empty?
