The Dress

“Ping!” Thursday evening Damien’s phone has a notification, a text. He opens his phone with anticipation and excitement to see a text from Emily with an attachment.

Emily:

“Heya! Sorry I’ve been abit busy this week but I’m honestly so excited for this weekend! Actually starting to make James so jealous!…anyway! Thought I’d show my “boyfriend” what I’m wearing Saturday hehe xxx”

Then Damien scrolls down to open the attached photo to reveal the masterpiece inside. Damien waited nervously as his phone pinged with a text from Emily.

Emily:

Damien:

“Well…my mum for example wants grandchildren so we might have to lie about that…happy to go with the flow though! But maybe we should start with how we met? Shall we just stick to what is the truth? xxx”

Emily:
