The Draw of Her Eyes

The seviper scented the fear coming off your friend. Getting a plan, she squeezes you tighter, getting a pained cry out of you. Rachael cringed and stood there frozen in a fear-induced paralysis as the snake coils around her.

You tried to muster any focus and power to free yourself from her coils, but the pain you feel prevents you from drawing any power. Rachael wasn't faring any better, Paralyzed in fear, Your friend made no attempt to escape.
