The Dog Days cometh

The group all return to the RRNW dorm, where they are greeted by Ruby and Weiss.

"Hey ladies. Where's Nora?" Jaune asked

"Out with Ren. Something about free pancake day?" Weiss stated "She was too excited to actually make any sense. But Ren got dragged along."

"I... See. Well, either way. What's this about a package?"

Ruby held up the pink cylinder

"A package from Yang and I's lovely papa!" She said with gusto

"What... Is it though? Spray paint?" Blake asked

"Cookie dough?" Jaune guessed

"Only one way to find out!"

Ruby uncorked the lid and flipped the cylinder. With a thump, a blackish object which fit the dimensions of the cylinder perfectly fell out.

"Uh... What is it?" Jaune said, baffled.

Suddenly the object leaped into the air, and with a bizarre pop, changed it's form into... A dog.

"ZWEI!" Ruby and Yang both cheered simultaneously, before rushing over to him.

"Your dad... Sent a dog in the mail?" Weiss asked

"Y-yeah. Why?" Blake muttered. Jaune looked to see she was no longer beside him, but instead... Up on the desk, shaking a bit.

"He does this kinda stuff a lot" Yang shrugged.

"Okay but... Why?" Jaune once again stated with bewilderment.

"I dunno. Maybe he thought Zwei would be happier here with us."

Jaune facepalmed. "What am I gonna do about this?"
