The Dance of the Angels goes beautifully

The two of you slowly away to the soft digital music that was slowly kicking on. You carefully dipped Aelita down just as the several reed flutes started to play. This began a medieval/fantasy theme interspersed within the electronic music. The two of you twirled around just as the music reached a crescendo.

Once this crescendo was reached with a resounding harmony and the sounding of a drum, the square you and Aelita were on lifted off the ground while four other sets of tiles shot out of the ground and floated in midair. Instantly, holographic beings appeared on these platforms along with several lights and wire-frame geometric shapes that floated about.

The holographic forms were replicas of the various monsters from Code Lyoko (Aelita’s home universe). And they were doing their damndest to follow along with your dance. A set of Krabs were half tangled up as they tried to match the bow you and Aelita do during one part of the routine.

The crowd gasps as four Mantas break off from their dance and dive bomb you and Aelita in the middle of your attempt to sweep Aelita into a carry. The Mantas explode into glittering lights just as they touch you and Aelita, hiding the two of you from view. As the lights faded away, the crowd once more gasped but this time in amazement as Aelita and you were revealed to have emerged into an embrace and each of you had a large pair of dazzling wings.

Aelita’s slightly pink wings were shining and glowing a beautiful hot pink that filled you with joy while on your own back were light green wings with carefully woven lines of vines that were hanging off of them. You gave your wings a little flutter and backed up to give Aelita some room as the unfamiliar(and holographic) wings let off green sparks and little lotus petals which fell on your guests.

You flexed your wings and began to present yourself to Aelita like an oversized peacock. Flaring the feathers to make them look bigger, you perform a complicated twist and wave dance. Aelita laughed with one of her hands and one of her adorable wings covering her smile. Finishing the dance with a bow, you crept close to Aelita and the two of you wrapped your wings around each other as the music shifted to a slow dance.

Completing a slow waltz and ignoring the comments from the DJ, you sealed the dance with a kiss on Aelita’s adorable lips. At the instance of the kiss, the wings raised high up and before they swelled up and burst into glowing balls that flew off to cover the stadium. The balls shrunk before exploding into digital galaxies along with the Code Lyoko monsters. The holograms dissipated as your platform reinserted itself in the dance floor.

“Thank you for the dance my sweet,” you say before getting Aelita one more kiss.

“I love you James,” Aelita said as she broke the kiss. You then walked a bit off to the side as several of your siblings approached the dance floor with their dance partners.

“Well folks, I understand your enthusiasm but keep the dance floor clear for one last event before the family dance,” the DJ announced causing your siblings to look around a bit confused and wary.

“It’s time for the bridal dance!” Starfire flew back to the dance floor and set down in front of Aelita and gave her a gentle hug being mindful of Aelita’s baby bump. You clapped happily as more music began to play.
