The Crystal Charmer’s Secret Cast

Busybody, Incorporated - The original name of the mystery-solving group founded six years ago by Phineas Farris, Jake Magnum, and Dusty Pinder. Highly successful teen detectives, they solved many unusual mysteries while creating enemies around their hometown, including in the police department. After Dusty moved away, approximately three years ago, Phinn and Jake stopped using the name. Both boys felt that keeping the name without Dusty wasn't proper, and Phinn always hated it.

Phineas Farris - 18-years-old: Short dark brown hair and brown eyes (eyeglasses). The brain of the group. Phinn is antisocial and dislikes making small talk and interacting with his fellow teenage classmates. That often causes him to be sarcastic or a know-it-all. Phinn is usually suspicious of everyone, leading him to be rarely shocked by their cases.

Jake Magnum - 18-years-old: Short-to-medium dirty blond hair and blue eyes. The athlete/muscle of the group. A popular student at North High, Jake plays linebacker and tight end on the football team. His looks and skills make him popular with female classmates and older women. Jake tends to view everyone as innocent and often believes in the supernatural, which frequently frustrates his best friend.

Dusty Pinder - Research and record-keeping for Busybody, Inc. The group’s sneak thief due to Dusty’s small stature. Moved away three years ago. Jake and Phinn still haven’t adjusted to losing their partner.

Families

Liberty “Libby” Magnum - 20-years-old: Long, wavy, dirty blond hair and blue eyes. As Jake’s older sister, Libby often babysat her brother and his two closest friends while growing up. Opinionated and liking a good time, Libby often bickers with her younger brother, especially when he flirts with her friends. Libby alternates between viewing Phinn as a little brother and an annoying pest. She’s currently home from college on summer break.

Bandit - The Magnum family’s bulldog. Named by Dusty, Bandit is particularly fond of Phinn, who takes him on walks.

Marvin and Justine Magnum - Jake’s opposites-attract parents. On-and-off-again high school sweethearts, they somehow seem to make their differences work. Justine’s a well-respected criminal defense attorney, while Marvin is a former local star athlete who owns a sports bar.

Putnam Farris - 13-years-old: Messy dark brown hair and brown eyes. Nicknamed Pugsley by Phinn and Jake at a young age. Smart and a schemer, Putnam has an adversarial relationship with his older brother. Phinn swears his kid brother is already turning out to be his villainous counterpart.

Fraser and Pamela Farris - A chemistry professor at Bentworth College, Fraser is somewhat absent-minded and clueless about the level of trouble his sons get into. A stay-at-home mom and volunteer, Pamela knows her sons' mischievous ways and attempts to keep them out of trouble.

Neighbor

Cormac “Corky” King - 12-years-old: A spunky kid with short copper hair and green eyes. A neighbor of Jake and Phinn’s, Corky lives across Madison Street and several houses down. The president of the Busybody, Inc. Fan Club, which he created four years ago with Jake and Dusty’s permission. Corky likes to view himself as the unofficial fourth member of the group. An avid reader of The Wicked Riddle, the only remaining website or online magazine dedicated to junior investigating.

The Past

Camp Little Weasel - A summer camp in the Northwoods of the Upper Great Lakes. A regular summer adventure during Fraser Farris’ childhood years, his wife, Pamela, decided to send her bookworm son to the camp five years ago. Accompanied by Jake and Dusty, Phinn initially had a horrible time before a mystery emerged. During their nearly eight-week stay, Busybody, Inc. met several campers, including Leighton Ledford and Paisley Ellison. Dusty clashed with Leighton early on. The junior investigators also met and worked with the Sassy Girls, a fellow mystery-solving group. Consisting of Camryn and Cassidy Sasser, along with Pearl Bonnet. Together, the two detective groups solved the case, but Busybody’s tactics would get them banned for life from the camp.

Leighton Ledford - 18-year-old/Soon-to-be-19: A tall young woman with long, wavy, bright copper red hair, blue eyes, and medium-to-large breasts. Cousin of Paisley on her mother’s side. Native of the Chicago area, Leighton has a family connection to Edgewater through a branch of her family. Bitchy and bossy five years ago, Leighton clashed with Dusty, leading her to humiliate her fellow camper. Apologies and amends were made, and Leighton’s personality has mellowed since. An avid lover of the outdoors thanks to her family's cabin near Camp Little Weasel, Leighton is a great tracker.

Paisley Ellison - 18-year-old: A medium-height teenager with long pale blonde hair, blue eyes, and medium-sized breasts. Cousin of Leighton on her father’s side. A native of Edgewater, Paisley is viewed as the ice queen of rival South High. An arrogant, uptight attitude undermines her ethereal beauty. She isn’t interested in Jake and despises Phineas. Dated an exchange student from Paris during her recent junior year of high school.

Lumlow

Yvonne “Vonnie” Ellison - 34-year-old: A tall woman with neck-length, strawberry blonde hair, blue eyes, large breasts, and a curvy ass. Aunt of Leighton and Paisley. A quirky, eccentric, and bubbly woman who is into astrology and crystal healing. The lady of Ellison House, the family’s “summer home,” Yvonne doesn’t own the estate, but will likely inherit it as no one else in the Ellison family wants it. Her innocence and beauty have made her a target for fortune hunters for years, but her family has managed to ward them off. Currently hosting a gaggle of guests, all connected to her through her spiritual advisor, Jean-Paul Flamand.

Marie - 26-years-old: A short woman with light brown hair, brown eyes, and medium-sized breasts. The housekeeper and cook at Ellison House for the last eight years. Marie is more like a friend to Yvonne than an employee.

Jean-Paul Flamand - 43-years-old: A handsome man with medium brown hair and mesmerizing amber eyes. A mysterious man with charisma and a penchant for three-piece suits and capes. A self-proclaimed spiritual advisor, he relies on the powers of crystals combined with other belief systems to promote the best version of oneself. Allegedly has an evil counterpart named Wolfram Voelker.

Selene - 28-years-old: A tall woman with jet black hair, green eyes, medium-to-large breasts, and alabaster skin. Selene is Jean-Paul Flamand’s assistant.

Wolfram Voelker - 45-years-old: Allegedly Jean-Paul Flamand’s counterpart in the ways of black magic. No one else at Ellison House besides Jean-Paul and Selene has met Voelker, but he’s treated as the boogeyman coming soon to tempt them to his side.

Adora Rose - 26-years-old: A short, petite woman with long, dirty blonde hair, light brown eyes, and large breasts. An actress and star of the superhero academy television show Power Prep during her teenage years. Her role as Dream Lass made her an instant It Girl for teenage boys. Won Sensualist magazine’s award for Best Tits in Hollywood just after turning eighteen. Adora has struggled to find similar success in films, with Planet Virago proving to be a box office disaster, and her last movie, Carnal Cabin, feeling more like a campy horror film filled with T&A. Rumored to be up for a significant role in a future summer blockbuster.

Troy Curry- 28-years-old: An athletic man of medium height, sandy blond hair, and blue eyes. Adora’s small-time actor boyfriend, who is struggling to get bit roles. Short-tempered, he’s paranoid about the paparazzi wrecking Adora’s privacy. Had a small role on the soap opera Hotel Xanadu.

Catherine Dall - 42-years-old: A tall woman with long golden blonde hair, gray eyes, and very large breasts. An actress, she rose to fame in her teenage years on the primetime show Jealous City. She transitioned successfully into films with drama roles and crime hits such as Club Unseen and Nowhere Nights. Known for beauty and raw sexuality, Cat won Sensualist magazine’s award for Best Tits in Hollywood three straight years, with one of those years making her a Tripe Crown winner by also landing Best Ass and Most Fuckable. Her personal life hasn’t been as fortunate, with two high-profile divorces filled with negative publicity.

Hazel Gerber/Zarana - 23-years-old: A shortish young woman with neck-length black hair, light brown hair, medium-sized breasts, and caramel skin. A shy, wallflower type, it’s startling how she can transform into a captivating showstopper with a microphone in her hand. A singer in the girl group PLW (Pretty Little Witches), they had hit singles “Entrance” and “Your Girlfriend Doesn’t Matter.” Apparently, Hazel also suffered in the predatory music industry.

Portia Savoy - 23-years-old: A medium-height young woman with long dark brown hair, blue eyes, and large breasts. A bored socialite from the wealthy Savoy family, Portia is struggling to find a purpose in life. Manipulative and seductive, she enjoys seducing and corrupting people for fun.

Benjamin “Benji” Biddle - 22-years-old: A short young man with reddish brown hair and brown eyes. An actor, Benji starred as Albie, a bumbling young child/young teen struggling with a lack of popularity and school, in the television show Age of Albie. Unfortunately, praised for his acting as a child, he has never been given a chance to showcase his abilities as an adult. Frustrated by the typecasting, Benji hopes that by increasing his confidence, he can finally land another shot. Despite his struggles, Benji never turned bitter and remains a kind, empathetic young man.

Karter Terstad - 25-years-old: A tall, skinny man with back hair and dark brown eyes. A tech whiz kid, Karter created a moderately successful app while early in high school. The money and fame went to his head, yet he failed to replicate his previous success. Still young, Karter continues to receive more opportunities and investors for his future projects. A vain, arrogant man, he treats others as nuisances.

Frank Noonan - 60ish: A rugged man in excellent shape, he has gray hair and fark brown eyes. The closest neighbor to Ellison House is Frank, a retiree who lives on a farm about a mile down the road.

Sheriff Wheeler - 55-years-old: A tall man with a growing potbelly, he has graying, thinning brown hair and gray eyes. The laid-back local sheriff around Lumlow. He’s basically what Phinn expected and seems too inept to handle a serious crime.

Deputy Allen - mid-20ish: A slim man with brown hair and brown eyes. Wheeler’s eager deputy, he’s often dispatched to run errands.
