The Cowgirl manages to reach the ropes.

Despite your best efforts, Dinah somehow manages to grab hold of one of the ropes with only one hand, her fingers just barely clinging on to the fiber.

The crowd immediately erupts in support of the Cowgirl as her forearm drapes around the rope, putting your previously self-assured victory very much in doubt.

At the referee’s command, you reluctantly break the hold with a grunt of frustration.

You could almost sense her capitulation just on the tip of her tongue, but by sheer determination on her part, she powers out of it.

“That’s gotta be heartbreaking for John, to know that his opponent was probably just seconds away from tapping out. But again, that just shows the fighting spirit of the Cowgirl,” the announcer proclaims.

Backing up to create some distance at the referee’s insistence, you pace from side to side like a caged animal as she checks on the still downed Cowgirl.

Waving away any assistance, the ever defiant Cowgirl starts to pull herself back up albeit in wobbly fashion.

Still limping on her right leg, Dinah is still leaning on the ropes for support even as the referee signals for the match to continue.

Regardless of the fact that she escaped your hold, it’s obvious that Dinah’s leg is still weakened severely by the time she spent in the Boston crab.

And judging by her somewhat apprehensive look, she knows it, too.

The only question now is: how can you put her away for good this time?
