The Conniving Step-Mother

Joceyln Lingstrom was a very cunning woman. She had married a rich widower with two kids, a boy and a girl who were in their teens. Through her charm and guile, she managed to get her husband to leave everything to her in case of his death, which unfortunately for his kids, if not for her, happened when the son Mike was 17 and the daughter Miranda was 16. Their father died in a boating accident on a deep sea fishing trip.

After their father's death, Mike and Miranda's step-mom told them they were both out as soon as they turned 18 or graduated high school whichever came latter. She then started to blow through their dad's estate: breast implants, a fancy new luxury SUV, salon visits, country club memberships, fancy clothes and purses, etc. She also loved to flaunt it on social media:

After Miranda graduated, she moved in with Mike who lived off campus in a small apartment where Mike slept on a sleeper sofa and Miranda got the bedroom. It was all they could afford as both had to work to pay for college, rent, etc even though scholarships and grants helped a lot.

Together Mike and Miranda formed a plan for revenge.
