In Addition to Tetryon-Based Covariant Shielding and Multiphasic Anti-Personnel **** Fields for Defense, The Colonies boast an Array of Offensive Capabilities From Neutral Particle Weapons, High-Energy X-Ray Lasers, Cobalt Fusion Warheads, Multikinetic Neutronic Mines, and Merculite Rockets to Phase-Conjugate Heavy Graviton Beams, Tricobalt Satellites, Thoron Shock Emitters, Magnetometric-Guided Spatial Charges, and Isolytic Subspace Torpedoes but their Most Powerful Offensive Capability is The Colony Laser, A Weapon of Mass Destruction which as The Name Implies, Is an Empty Shell of an Orbiting Space Colony which has been Converted into a Large Fusion Generated **** Plasma Pulse Laser Capable of Destroying Several Targets at Once.

There are currently Three Known Colony Lasers in operation, though at one point there were Five but two were destroyed During The OverTech Wars. The Colony Laser can fire Indefinitely, Although its Primary Flaws include The Time-Consuming Process of Recharging between Shots and The Fact that they are Ponderously Slow and Huge (If Resilient) Targets.

Essentially, A Massive Solar Powered Beam Projector, Power is Supplied by An Array of Solar Panels positioned behind it, Whilst a Block of Thermonuclear Pulse Thrusters provide these huge weapons with a Limited Degree of Mobility.

The First Colony Laser was Built as part of Operation Dahlia from The Remains of an Abandoned Space Colony in response to an Attack by The Arachnids which Destroyed The City of Buenos Aires, Argentina killing 8.5 Million People During The Opening Salvo in The First Bug War (2033-2037). It was hoped that it would help protect The Earth from Future Asteroid Bombardments.

However, Despite Construction beginning shortly after The Devastating Attack that Destroyed Buenos Aires The Completion of The Laser was Delayed until nearly The End of The War.

In More Recent Times, The Colony Laser of Side 7's Green Noa 2 Colony was used to Punish The Rebellious 18th Colony of Side 2 rather than resorting to Conventional Invasion or The Use of Chemical Weapons.
