The Children of the Watch (Tier 2)

You were contacted by Pre Vizsla to come to Concordia once again, when your time allows. He had wanted to have a few words with you personally. You land in the base and seek him out. When you find him, he was just having a talk with your father.

Pre: Finally! We have been waiting for you Lana!

Rantar: Lana, it's been a long time! How are you my dear?

Lana: I'm fine father, I wanted to meet you last time I was here, but you were offworld.

Rantar: Yees, I had to arrange some diplomacy with Pre, but I have heard the tale about you and Bo Katan! I'm certain she wasn't happy about losing her place as the right hand of the boss! {if Bo humiliated = true}Not to mention the treatment you have given her afterwards...{endif}

Lana: I really wasn't there to fight her, it just...

Pre: No need to be humble about it Lana, you have earned the respect and fear of many of our members that day! Be proud of yourself, not many are able to stand up to Bo Katan like that! As for the mission Rantar mentioned earlier... That is exactly I wanted to to to you about. Maybe you won't like the idea, but we have arranged a temporary alliance with the Separatist Alliance to retake Mandalore!

Lana: So I have heard your subordinate... Pre, I must protest, this is a very bad idea!

Rantar: Lana, I know you don't like them due to your Jedi upbringing, but this is a war... Alliances and allegiances are shifting like water in the ocean. We have to ensure we are the ones who will be coming out on top, at any cost.

Pre: Exactly. I don't like Count Dooku at all, all I need is his army to overrun Sundari, then our alliance will be over. We won't be joining the Republic and remain neutral for the remaining of the war. That is our pact.

Lana: But Mandalore wouldn't be joining the Republic without Separatist involvement either, no?

Pre: Duchess Satine has taken considerable steps towards being a very close friend of the Republic, steps that hurt the pact of neutrality! She is extremely close to inviting the clones into her city to use them as a police **** to compensate for her lack of skills! No outsider may ever reign over Mandalore!

Lana: But Dooku cannot be trusted! He is a Sith lord, all he cares about is his personal power! He would betray you before you know it and take Mandalore for himself!

Pre: If he is bold enough to betray us, he will find himself up against a **** his droids are powerless against! My men are far superior to his soulless machines!

Lana: Yes, but they have the numbers, that is why you wanted to ally him in the first place!

Pre: Lana, I respect your opinion, but I have already made my decision! The alliance with Dooku stands as long as I deem him useful to us!

Lana: Yes?! Well how about that...! **** Watch protects its members at any cost right?

Rantar: Of course, but what does it have to do with the current topic Lana?

Lana: Just to let you know, Dooku managed to capture me not long ago! I had been tortured for a very long time to break my will, but he failed!

Rantar and Pre: What?!

Lana: I managed to get away from his palace, but I have sworn to return and show him the same kindness as he had showed me!

Rantar: This is outrageous! Nobody may hurt my little daughter! Pre, I demand an immediate strike against the man! If you aren't coming, I'll go alone and restore the honour of my clan!

Pre: Shh, calm down Rantar! I wasn't expecting the things to escalate so quickly...! Hmm... I'm already working on a way to go around the man... Nobody, not a single soul may touch our own and get away with it! Not even Dooku! Actually I have already made a plan B for the option he refused us. Lana, I want you to decide, since you were the one mostly offended by him. Should we go through with the alliance and retake Sundari with the Separatists or stab him in the back and find an other way?

Lana: I want him stabbed in the back, but do it in a way to really hurt him!

Rantar: I believe it's decided then! Pre, gather the men!

Pre: Not so fast Rantar! Betraying him is one thing, but how are we going to kill him... He never takes a single step without his entourage of droids. Plus we can't walk into his palace with an army, it would be too easy to spot our intentions... I need an elite squad of our men, we'll do the job.

Lana: Where will be the next meeting?

Pre: In his palace on Serenno, three days from now. Never been to that sector before.

Lana: That's where I was held captive! The Republic has a detailed schematics about the palace and the surrounding area, I'll ask my friend to transmit the data for you, so you can work out a plan!

Rantar: That would be most helpful Lana! You never seize to amaze me dear!

Pre: Yes, with such preparations, we could end the man's life before he realizes he has been betrayed! That will show him and the Separatists! Plus, it'll show just how powerful **** Watch truly is, earning us a considerable prestige among the inhabitants of Sundari! They'll welcome our triumphant entry into the city with Dooku's head!

Rantar: Oh, and don't forget to ask Lana for the thing you have called her here!

Pre: That's right. Lana, I want you to do very special mission for me... It's almost like a personal favour of mine...

Lana: I'm listening. You need someone dealt with?

Pre: No, no, it requires skills I'm lacking... I need you to meet an other Mandalorian tribe, the Children of the Watch.

Lana: The who...? Never heard of that tribe.

Rantar: They aren't an ancient one, formed relatively recently, a few decades ago. They are following the old Mandalorian traditions, the Way of the Mandalore. They are orthodox zealots, never removing their helmets, etc. They are organizing raids into surrounding systems, often taking in the orphaned children and raising them as their own, regardless of their origins. This way, their numbers can grow way faster than ordinary child making.

Lana: Wow, never thought there are still people following those old ways!

Pre: They do. To the letter. They were once part of **** Watch, but they deemed us too distant from the old ways and have broken off from us. I need you to convince them to return to us, together our numbers would double, allowing us to take Sundari without outsider help! When the other clans see that happen, they will flock to my banner and Mandalore will be glorious as it used to be!

Lana: But why wouldn't you ask them to return here? Why should I be the one sent there?

Pre: For two very simple reasons. For one, they don't believe in a Mandalore who has taken off their helmet in front of others. I possess the dark saber, which should be honoured by following me, but they do so no longer. They don't respect my wishes and commands, hence I wouldn't stand a chance at asking them back here. The other is the more personal one... My cousin, Paz Vizsla has joined them too... He is still a child, but he was amazed by the people still living according to the old ways. The younglings are always fascinated by legendary heroes or mythological characters and try to act like them... Even if you fail at bringing the whole tribe back, at least convince my cousin to return. He is important to me, even if he refused to follow our ways. I cannot let him stay with those zealots any longer!

Lana: Very well, I'll see what I can do!

Pre: Thank you Lana! At the meantime, I'll make sure to deliver a final surprise to Dooku in his palace!

Rantar: The tribe's location is on this datapad, the live on the other side of Concordia. Good luck Lana, when you are back, Dooku's head will welcome you on the base's entrance!

Lana: Just make sure not to underestimate him! He is stronger than you expect him!

Pre: We are the **** Watch, we are the ones underestimated by him!

You part ways and set out to find this "Children of the Watch" clan.
