The Centaur wanted to ask you a question

"You're not from 'round here, are ya?" the creature asked, its voice a low rumble that sent a chill down my spine.

I shook my head, studying the elongated fingers that wrapped around the fallen branch it held. "Well, ain'tcha lucky," it continued, letting out a rough laugh, "can't find yer way out? Let me enlighten ya. Humans who end up in this forest often end up in the belly of some harpy, manticore, or Griffin. Sometimes they even end up inside a centaur like me."

Before I could react, strong arms wrapped around my waist and lifted me off the ground. My heart pounded in my chest as I warbled and kicked wildly, but it was no use. The centaur pinned me against its powerful chest, its nose nuzzling against mine. His breath was hot and metallic, the scent of decay clinging to him like a stench. I struggled, beating my fists against the centaur, but it took little effort for him to overpower me.

"Settle down," the centaur rumbled, gripping my arms tighter.

"I won't hurt ya, much." I froze, staring into his eerie blue eyes. "What do you want from me?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper. "I need your help," the centaur replied, "I don't have any swimmers , if you know what I mean. My mate and I need a child to carry on our dwindling lineage."

He paused, glancing away for a moment before adding, "And that's where you come in."

My eyes widened, and a wave of nausea washed over me. Was I really hearing this right? "You want me to...what?

I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. Surely this half-man, half-horse couldn’t expect me to *gulp* help impregnate his mate.“You want me to be, um, a sperm donor?” I stammered awkwardly, still trying to gauge the gravity of my predicament.

The Centaur looked at me intently and nodded, “not quite."
