What's next?

The Car ride

We got in the car, mom set the radio and I stared out the window as we drove off. The all too familiar smell of cum and sex filling the car as we hit the typical morning traffic.

We drove in an uncharacteristic silence. Mom tried starting up a conversation, but I wasn't in a talking mood. Replying back to her with nothing more than grunts or shrugs until she finally had enough.

“What's wrong my sweet baby boy?” Mom asked. “You seem agitated today?”

“It's nothing.” I said back, keeping my gaze out the window.

“I know it's not nothing. Are you mad about the early shoot times? Because I only agreed to them to spend more time with you.”

“No, we talked about that. I’m cool with it.”

"Was it the way Tyrone talked to you? Because he was only teasing. He's actually a very nice man. Handsome too..."

"No. I don't care about that." I was used to her macho co-stars swinging their dicks around both metaphorical and literally by now. Although, Tyrone? Really? Did these guys have to pick the most stage stereotypical names?

“Is there trouble at school? Is somebody bullying you??”

“No. School's fine…” Of course that was a lie, but I couldn't tell her the truth. It would break her to learn how I was being treated, because of her career. I wouldn't let some stupid, prudish bullies crush her dreams. I just wouldn't.

Besides, I didn't fit in with the normal guys anyway, and that wasn't why I was in this mood…

“Then what's wrong? I can always tell when my sweet baby boy is in a fowl mood?”

"Please, just... STOP calling me THAT.” I snapped. “I'm not some ‘little boy’ or kid anymore. I’m a teenager.”

The silence hung heavy in the car. I didn't want to blow up like that. Not at mom. But she kept treating me like a child, when I'd been eighteen for a while now. I was mature enough to be with her on set, and being called her 'sweet baby boy' in front of the other actors was emasculating.

But I hadn't wanted to bring it up like that. After a few more moments of silence, I'd worried I'd gone too far, until mom spoke.

“You'll always be my sweet baby boy.” She said as lovingly as ever.

Cliche.” I groaned. Allowing myself to smile as little. “So cliche…”

“Well it's true.” She laughed, before speaking more seriously. “But I know you're not a kid. You're a man now. And I'm so proud of the man you've become.”

“Thank you.” I kept looking away to hide my blushing cheeks. “I'm sorry for yelling.”

“That’s okay.” She said. “So long as you're open about your feelings. We don't keep secrets from each other, right?”

“Right.” I affirmed.

“That's my sweet bab-” She stopped, correcting herself. “My sweet big man.”

“Please, stop.” I light-heartedly groaned.

Her calling me a ‘big man' felt uncomfortably close to how she talked in her videos. Not that I ever watched the completed ‘products’, but I'd seen her act enough to know the difference. The slight seductive tone with a hint of giddiness underneath it. Hearing that voice directed towards me stirred a kernel of a feeling that was better left unnurtured.

“Can we talk about anything else now?”

“Okay. Okay.” She said. A small smirk forming in her face. “How's Emma? Have you asked her out yet?”

“MOM!” I glared at her. “It's not like that! She's just a friend. She already has a boyfriend…”

“Well I think you'd be better for her than that college boy. The poor girl needs somebody more sweet and dependable. Like you.”

It's not like that…” I said as convincingly as I could.

“Sure… sure…”

“What about you and Johnson?”

“What about us…” She narrowed her eyes.

“Did I hear you've got something special planned tonight? Sounds romantic.”

“Oh please.” She scoffed. “You know he's just an old friend, it not-”

Not like that?” I interrupted her. “Sure… sure…”

“We're just going to dinner to talk about some career opportunities.” She said. Giving me a deathly ‘Watch it kid’ look. “Maybe you should go out for a nice friendly dinner with Emma too.”

“Maybe.” I said non-committally. “When I see her next I could-”

“There she is right now!”

What is Emma doing?
