The Break In Begins

They climbed up the fire escape onto the room. Once there they looked down the skylight. They could see the display room below, with the faint sparkle of diamonds under the moonlight.

While Rachel snipped the alarm on the skylight, Lauren poured acid over the lock with melted it away. These tasks done they pulled it open and lowered a rope ladder down. Rachel, an exceptional athlete, flew down the rope. It took Lauren over a minute of squirming and exertion. By the time they reached the bottom Lauren was embarrassed to admit she was already sweating.

They put their back's to the wall and moved along in silence in the camera's blind spot. Rachel cut the monitor on this one and they moved past. That's when they saw the broach in a glass case in a grid of lasers...
