Albus Dumbledore has always been a firm believer of the greater good and would willingly sacrifice a child if necessary. So when presented a way to defeat Lord Voldemort without sacrificing his life the Headmaster took it with great ****.

Sitting in his office the elder wizard looked at the ancient tome before him, it’s ancient leather spine worn to the point where the title is no longer legible but he knew what it was- “The Personal Journal of Blaise Ommin”.

In the days of Wild Magic Blaise Ommin created countless spells, curses, potions, and rituals designed to defeat the various Dark Wizards running amok at the time. Yet his greatest accomplishment was the destruction of Dark Wizard Gareth’s Horcruxes, a feat he never shared to anyone.

It is for that reason Albus searched for the sole copy of Blaise Ommin’s journal as it contained the knowledge necessary to defeat Lord Voldemort. A pity that the journal is heavily protected by various charms, curses, and other manner of spells that would destroy the contents of the journal if anyone even tried to open the book without the proper sacrifice.

You see Blaise Ommin is undoubtedly a talented wizard, but he was also a Dark Wizard and notorious pervert of ill repute. In his time several young Female Muggles and Witches were found bound in the nude and begging for sex though some were found violated either willingly or unwillingly.

Something that apparently passed on with his journal as he needed to give the journal to a female in order to unlock it’s secrets.

For this reason, Albus found the idea of using his journal to be distasteful but necessary in the grand scheme of things. For one thing Albus did not want to die quite yet as he knew there would still be a war even if Voldemort were to fall.

So it is with a heavy heart the ancient wizard began writing a list of those who would receive the journal based upon the requirements of the journal. All of them brilliant students and all of them innocent but they needed to be sacrificed for the greater good.
