Return from the Hunt
The Boar that slew a King
A week had passed since the commotion on the streets of King's landing when Robert returned from the hunt and the political situation was going from bad to worse. You were disturbed by the noise and panic coming from outside your quarters and when you opened the door there was a lady running down the hall squealing that the King was gravely wounded.
You made your way to the King's chambers where you saw Ned, Cersei, Joffrey, Renly and Barristen Selmy crowded around the bed of the King. The sheets were blood stained and the King was coughing up large amounts of blood.
This was the first time you had seen Cersei in many years and she didn't seem particularly fussed about her husband's death. Cersei was a strikingly beautiful woman with fair skin and emerald green eyes with a slender figure and long curly yellow blonde hair.
"Go on you don't want to see this" The King said to Joffrey as the young prince got up and left his dying father.
"My fault, too much wine, missed my thrust," The king continued as Ned sat down at his side and pulled back the blood stained sheets.
"Smells like death hahahaha killed by a pig," The king laughed then winced in pain as more blood oozed out of his side.
"Now leave us the lot of you, I need to speak to Ned," The King finished as you followed Cersei and the others from the room.
"Nephew come here, we must speak to Lord Eddard," Renly said holding your arm just as the others got out of earshot.
