The Bird(Reality Warp)

Lauren had always liked the Bird in the game. She had seen her boyfriend play it from time to time and the symbolism in the earlier part of the game was pretty clear. The bird symbolized escape, whereas the cage symbolized safety. She stripped completely before putting on the costume. It had come with undergarments to match the period of the game.

The blue skirt easily went over her petticoat. The corset looked like it would be hard to tighten, but Lauren's fingers ran up the laces like a pro. She wasn't even sure how she managed to tighten it so easily on her own. She pulled on her velvet blue jacket and the effect was nearly complete. In the mirror she could tell her body magically fit into the costume. In fact she could have sworn her breasts were a bit more voluptuous and that her figure was a bit more like Elizabeth's than she was used to.

Then came the choker. Fastening it closed she felt a rush of energy flow through her. No longer was she in her house waiting for her boyfriend. She was inside some type of early 1900's apartment. Outside the window were clouds and floating platforms. She wasn't in the real world anymore, she was in Columbia. Going to the mirror she could see that not only was her figure more like Elizabeth, her entire body had changed including her face and hair.

"Oh my God," she said, her voice a dead ringer for Courtnee Draper.
