The Beginning: The First Cuddlebear's Nightclub

Animatronic entertainment has received a surprise rise in popularity. Numerous businesses and attractions were using animatronics to enhance their establishments and services. However, most of these places were designed for children or families with children. Adults weren't averse to animatronics; it's just that very few of those machines were designed to entertain them instead of the kids. Nobody knew it, but there was a market for Adult Animatronic entertainment, and that market was filled by one (controversial) company.

Cuddlebear Entertainment Inc.'s start was humble initially, but it was a significant success as soon as it started. The First Cuddlebear Nightclub was in a seedier part of town where no children would be confused by the colorful sign with cartoonish girls, but that worked for everyone. Most clients wanted discretion when entering a place like Cuddlebear's, so the location helped keep their secrets from most of their friends and family. CEI naturally capitalized on this desire and marketed its confidentiality policies as well as its sexual services. The result was a nightclub where everything was allowed, and the clients could feel safe and let loose.

However, it was a different story for the workers; the women served as both waitstaff and prostitutes for the customers, and their rates were cheaper than the ones given to the animatronics. Hence, customers often used them the most. Some rules let the girls perform their duties in relative peace, but CEI still valued the customer's satisfaction over their employee's comfort. The men didn't have it much easier, even if they didn't have it as bad as the girls. The Security Guards and other staff members were not allowed to touch the animatronics or any of the serving girls during their shift, and if they did, they would be in a lot of trouble. Nobody is allowed to go into detail about the punishments for violating the rules and the girls, but getting your pay docked or outright fired is considered a kindness.
