They had shelled the city from the distance with their artillery. Leaving this earth more scars. But she didn't care about this earth. She had to focus on the battle. It was once a beautiful planet. But all these wars and this one. . .I wonder if we're doing the right thing. Now they were moving in. From all sides. There was so many of them. Billions of humans scores of angels or how their kin serving the Great Enemy called them. Fallen angels. It was true though. The Bible described their armies numbers being like all the sand on the seashore.

How could light win? She thought. But she had read the book before entering the battle. But maybe Satan knew something. So far no fire from the heavens came. They were approaching the gold city. The camp of the saints.

Not much further. Then the clouds parted. Light shone. What the fuck? Molten rock started raining down on them. Fire. This is it. It was foretold. Soon the screaming began. Fallen angels fell from the sky. And humans hundreds every seconded died from asphyxiation or just being devoured by heavenly flame. She did her best too dodge the fiery rocks. But the smoke was too much. She couldn't see clearly and soon she was falling. Did I get hit by a boulder? She didn't know for sure. But one second she was evading and next she was dazed. The fall will probably kill me. . .Thud.

The Judgment of Satan

7 When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison 8 and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth—Gog and Magog—and to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore. 9 They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of God’s people, the city he loves. But fire came down from heaven and devoured them. 10 And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown.
