The Batcomputer recognizes him as Barbara and suits him up to answer the bat signal.

The in-game menu glitched out but Damian saw a loading icon spinning in her peripheral vision. For a second there, she felt relief. She believed she was just going to close this game and wait until her father returned so she could ask him a million and one questions.

When Damian awoke in the Batcave, he found everything the same as he left it. He pulled the headset off and hopped out of the sim chair. He checked his body over once again. No breasts, no red hair. It dawned on Damian how real that game felt, though. His subconscious was suspended in the game so it played sort of like a hyper-realistic dream. He was going to give his father the benefit of the doubt that a program and a machine that advanced was likely to have bugs and kinks that needed to be smoothed out.

That still wasn't an excuse for the situation he was in. Now that he thought of it, his father might find Damian's situation amusing. Babs certainly would never let him hear the end of it. Maybe he would just leave out the “I was stuck as Batgirl” part of the story.

Damian was heading to the elevator that led up to Wayne Manor when he was halted by a security alert. A red exclamation point appeared on every screen in the cave.

Damian would have just left the simulation and brought the complaint up to his father, but then the Bat computer made a bizarre notification.

“Barbara Gordon, the GCPD has requested your immediate assistance.”

Damian looked around to see Barbara Gordon nowhere to be seen in the Batcave.

“Barb isn’t here, you dumb computer.”

“That is factually incorrect, Miss Gordon. You are present here in the Batcave, which is how we are communicating.”

"Miss Gordon?”

Damian frowned.

“I’m Damian, you infernal machine!. Robin? Batman’s son?! Ring a bell?”

The computer scanned Damian as he pleaded.

“Negative, per my bio scan, you are Barbara Gordon, aka Batgirl. This matter is urgent and you respond without delay.”

Before Damian could retort, four robot arms grabbed him by his limbs and hoisted him over to the wardrobe chamber. One of the holding cells opened up the purple, yellow and black suit for Batgirl.

“Initiating expedited suit-up process.”

“UNHAND ME AT ONCE! NO WAY IN HELL AM I WEARING THAT!”

Damian struggled to get himself out of the machine's cold metal grasp.

“Very well,” the computer buzzed. The metallic arms removed the clothes from Damian’s body leaving him nude which caught him off guard. They usually just left him in his boxers when they put him in his Robin costume.

The metallic arms hoisted him up by his shoulders and slipped him into a purple bra and panty set with a black bat pattern. His face turned a bright red as he was lowered into the Batgirl suit. A metal hand zipped it up, sealing him inside. Damian couldn’t get around to just how ill fitting the suit was with it being too loose in some areas and too tight in others. There was no way that he was going to fool anyone into thinking he was Batgirl looking like that. He just looked like a young man in poorly fitted Batgirl cosplay.

“I don’t know which is worse. The simulation where I play as Barbara, or having to dress up as her in real life.”

"Great job, you stupid AI. This doesn't even fit me!"
