The Bargain Is Struck

"Alright, that's fair. I honestly didn't really expect to get the fief or set-gear, though I didn't think the Centaur body with a horse head would be an issue." You reply, lifting your left-fore-hoof to 'shake' on the deal, and the admin takes it gingerly and shakes once, binding the bargain with a double ring of magical symbols.

"Very good, now come with me and let's get you set up with your new bodies and equipment for both of you," Clarice says, and you follow her to an empty arch of glowing stones which she whispers a code word to and it fills with a shimmering curtain of sparkling lights. "Step through with me and we will be taken to the body-changing-station of 'Golkonda'." She informs you.

You realize you have little choice but to follow, so you step through with her and find yourself in a strange room much like an immense factory, with various machines and conveyor belts all over the place. The whole building is done in gray, silver, brass, dark-blue, and yellow, except the conveyor belts which are black, and is neither especially well nor dimly lit, but seems dimmer than it really is due to its sheer scope. Some of the assembly lines are sized for things bigger than small skyscrapers, while others are made for tiny objects that could fit on the tip of a human baby's pinky finger. Most of them are not running right now, but every now and then a few of the assembly lines will start up briefly, typically mostly the smaller ones, and run off a few hundred units of whatever they are making. (They move much too fast to tell what exactly they assemble...)

You are taken to a booth with a large holographic projector at the center, with comfortable upholstered blue chairs that morph to accommodate any sort of users.

"Okay experiment Two-Four-Five, let's design your new Centaur body." Clarice says, and you get down to business...
