The BNWO Equation - Jaseid Wayne

Jaseid was the child of Darkseid of Apokolips and Amanda Waller of Earth.

Nobody knows when or where these two unlikely pair came together. Jaseid himself had no memory of his parents. His earliest years were spent in an orphanage.

Growing up, Jaseid had no idea that his father was an evil god. Likewise, Darkseid has no idea that he had fathered a bastard on planet earth either. Amanda Waller was probably the only one who knows Jaseid exists, but that crazy bitch is probably too busy sacrificing convicts to remember a kid she had dumped at an orphanage once.

Because Jaseid’s father was a New God, Jaseid was blessed with divine physiology from birth. He was immune to diseases, toxins, curses, biological infections, magical malfeasance, and all sorts of corruption. While not invulnerable, he was more durable than humans and possessed a healing factor that could heal his injuries and disabilities quickly. He was also much faster and stronger than humanly possible, though not at the levels of top tier metahumans like Superman and the Flash.

Jaseid also inherited the Omega Effect from Darkseid. However, the effect applies differently through Jaseid. Rather than shooting homing death-rays, when Jaseid activates the Omega Effect, the Omega Force saturates his body and grants him temporary Invulnerability, Godstrength, Godspeed, telekinesis, teleportation, and the ability to fly.

Basically, Jaseid can go Super-Saiyan.

There is a limit to the duration that Jaseid can maintain the Omega Effect however, and he needs to sleep to replenish the Omega Force. At the present, Jaseid can only activate it continuously for about 5 hours.

When Jaseid was 16 years old, Darkseid invaded of Earth, believing that the collective human consciousness contains the key to unlocking the Anti-Life equation. The world was thrown into chaos and the top heroes across America quickly teamed up to fight the invasion, thus planting the seeds for a permanent alliance in the future.

Jaseid was living on the streets in a bad part of Gotham when his neighborhood was attacked by Darkseid’s parademons during the invasion. Jaseid subconsciously activated his Omega Effect and went on to wipe the floor with hundreds of parademons.

Jaseid’s actions caught the attention of Batman himself who noticed the similarity in the Omega energies Jaseid had exhibited to Darkseid’s energy signature. Batman then enlisted Jaseid in the fight against Darkseid.

After a brutal campaign that ultimately saw the Justice League transported to Apokolips to face off with Darkseid, Jaseid finally clashed with his father in the end. The young black boy proved to be the key to neutralizing Darkseid’s Omega Force, which allowed Superman and Wonder Woman to permanently defeat the villain once and for all.

Earth was saved and the Justice League became an official sanctioned entity by the world’s governments.

Several things happened to Jaseid after the crisis. Firstly, during the mission on Apokolips, the hero, Cyborg, had sacrificed himself to ensure the success of the mission against Darkseid. This lead to Jaseid somehow inheriting Cyborg’s Motherbox-techno-organic powers which manifested as a sleek cybernetic exo-suit that became bound to Jaseid.

Secondly, the clashing of Jaseid and Darkseid’s Omega Force during the final battle produced a temporary fracture in time and space, weakening the connection between realities. It was only for a moment, but that was enough for the influence of the BNWO meta to seep through and taint the reality.

At the time, unbeknownst to anyone, Darkseid’s computers had just finished calculating and deriving the Anti-Life equation. However, it was subsequently corrupted by the BNWO meta, turning it into the BNWO equation.

Because Jaseid was wearing Cyborg’s suit which is made of Apokolips Motherbox technology, the BNWO equation subsequently uploaded itself to Jaseid’s Cyborg suit. Thus Jaseid came to possess the BNWO Equation.

Finally, Batman saw a lot of potential in Jaseid throughout the crisis. So when everyone had gotten back to earth and the world had settled down, Batman offered to take Jaseid under his wing to train him to be a proper crime-fighter with the Bat family.

Due to Jaseid’s young age of 16, Batman revealed his identity to Jaseid as Bruce Wayne and adopted Jaseid as a foster son, having the boy take up the name, Jaseid Wayne.

With Cyborg’s techno-suit at Jaseid’s disposal, he easily customized it to take on bat-like characteristics to fit the theme of his new alter ego. For crimefighting purposes, Jaseid ultimately decided to call himself, ‘Batseid.’
