The Angel

Searching for the Angel is difficult. Most websites you get are either about church or the street angel program, a social project where nice people support homeless people. You decide to look directly in local newspaper articles and soon you find some results. According to the newspaper, the Angel is a mysterious vigilant. But there is no information about his true identity. Even his gender is questionable. It could be a she as well. Or it could be several people.

Miguel told you the Angel cost your father a small fortune. But he sees to be not the only one. Also, some smaller gangs and corrupt officials are on his agenda. The activities of the Angel are very different. Often dealers were ambushed and their ****, weapons and money were stolen. Sometimes wanted people were found tied up in front of a police station and a few times even hostages were freed. The angel also collects evidence and spreads them through the media.

The Angel seems to not trust the police very much, since he uses mostly **** against criminals and in at least five cases his actions ended deadly. But it is unclear if this was on purpose, an accident or self-defense. There are also a lot of living victims. Some are criminals, others are security guards and some are corrupt people. Some criminals were sent to hospital or arrested and corrupt officials fired thanks to the Angel. Even a lieutenant of your father. Miguel mentioned this.

Apparently, he was responsible for an illegal brothel. He gave the girls **** to make the addicted and if one of them tried to flee he brutally beat her up. in at least one case he even murdered one. But the Angel was able to free all girls and deliver the **** weapon to a trustworthy police officer. The police warns people to not follow the lead of the angel. Vigilantism is illegal and dangerous. And if the Angel will ever be captured, he will be arrested for a lot of crimes, including the five dead criminals.

You pause for a moment. Vigilantism is bad and illegal for good reason. But considering the corruption and all the criminals in the town, you have to admit that a vigilant, who isn’t stopped by law and regulations, could be exactly what the city needs. Still, it would be sad to admit that there are criminals who can’t be stopped by law. Well you have some time left until you have to decide which side you are on.
