The Ancient Tome

You stare at the box. You miss Allegra, and even Jenny terribly. You figure there must be an answer in the ancient time.

You open the cover. The script is in another language and completely illegible. You start to cry. A tear hits the book and seems to glow,

You watch the pages change into English. You close the book and close your eyes. You open it and begin reading.

It’s a spell to rescue someone from the box. You read it through carefully. The spell only works once and it isn’t specific. It will pull whoever you are closest too from the box.

You close the book, uncertain you want to do the spell. You head downstairs and out to a party. Celeste spots you.

“Morgan I’m so happy you came down. Isn’t it a wonderful night?”

The sky is overcast, the music is terrible.

“Yah, sure.”

“I’m glad you think so! Do you want to dance with me?”

You really don’t the dancing all seems rather puerile.

You start dancing with Celeste. As you shake you booty to nobodies appreciation, you decide to cast the spell.

“Excuse me, Celeste, I’m feeling tired.

“Oh, you should go get some sleep!”

You nod and head back to the workshop. You grab some chalk and begin drawing the summoning symbols. You light candles and spill a drop of your blood.

You begin to chant and call forth your friend. You can’t wait to see Allegra.
