The Amarok Speaks First

"So you have come to take the Trial" The Amarok speaks surprising you. You hadn't thought she COULD speak much less would to a lesser monster like you(though you hate to admit it). The Amarok's voice is cold being full of nothing but absolute apathy. Part of you thinks of kneeling at her feet before you quickly recall her words. A Trial like those your old Pack Leader spoke of. You recall the stories that tell of mysterious temples that are each dedicated to one of the goddesses. Each one is in a different location and has its own appearance. You look at the ruined totem and make a chilling realization, the totem wasn't of the Amarok it was of the Wolf Goddess Lupa. You turn back to the Amarok and quickly apologize for your foolishness in harming a tribute to the Goddess of their kind. As you put your head down terrified you hear a loud laugh. As you tilt your head back you see the monster absolutely howling(pun intended) at the scared look on your face. You put a nervous smile on as you watch the Amarok laugh for several minutes.

As her laughter dies out you see the beast smile as she looks at you. "Let me guess you don't know where you are and you just realized what you just did," The Amarok says, as you nod your head rapidly, her voice now having lost her cold tone with it replaced with a more jovial one. Looking you up and down she continues "A little small but passable". Coughing into her hand she speaks further in a more professional tone "Welcome to the Trials Of Lupine Goddess young challenger. There are 6 Trials one must undertake and by overcoming each one the challenger will gain a blessing from our Goddess. These Trials will test your Strength, Will, Intellect, and Skill. Now, do you choose to accept these Trials and please our Goddess"? As you think of the opportunity before you have a question in mind. "What would happen if I refused to undertake the Trials," you ask raising your hand. "Well then because you damaged a totem to our Goddess I'd fuck your mouth and ass for several hours until I became bored enough to toss you to the woods".
