That night, Midden proves his worth.

The girls quickly got busy.
While Sammy and Greta went off and "checked out the sauna" on their own, May managed to convince Nina to go out and party with her. They changed into the skimpiest bikinis that they had and hit the bar.
May was drunk in no time flat. She could never hold her liquor and tonight was no different. Some guy came up to them and started buying her daquiris and she was putty in his hands. Despite claiming that she would stick to her like glue, May abandoned Nina for this guy.
"I will be right back, Nine, I swear!" May said. "Greg just wants to... show me the sunset!"
"It's fine, May. Don't worry about me."
As they walked away, Nina swore that she saw the man's eyes turn green.
It must be nothing.

Nina spends an hour at the bar. She doesn't know why agreed to all of this. She had hoped that her friends would have stuck by her a bit more. But they had other things to worry about, right? Their own problems and all that? Sure.
She had just decided to leave the bar when all hell broke loose. Outside, a loud shatter rings out. Screaming. Pandemonium.
Nina runs out into the hall to see some shocking stuff. People running away from... well, monsters! Three of them.
They were big ugly things, tall and lanky, with deep red skin pulled tight against long cords of muscle. They were shaped like people were, two arms, two legs and a head up top. But they were too big, too stretched out.
They had long tresses of hair streaming out of their heads. Some had it braided, others didn't. All of them had a pair of spiraling horns sticking out of their heads, kinda like a goats horns.
They were terrifying. One of them, who had a big scar over his right eye, was scanning the panicked crowd. It laid it's eyes on Nina and a toothy grin grew across it's face. It raised a boney claw toward her and a ear-piercing screech escaped it's lips.
As it started toward her, Nina stumbled back. Her only choice was to run.

The terrified woman burst through the doors that lead to the hotel kitchen. She had no time to block the door, as the creature was right behind her. The kitchen was big, befitting a hotel of this size.
With the pounding footsteps of the beast not far away, Nina looked around for a weapon or a place to hide. Luckily, she found both. Grabbing a big steak knife, she ducks into the pantry.
Just in time too, as she can hear the monster burst through the doors in the next room. She tries her hardest to keep quiet as the beast turns the kitchen upside down.
"I know you're in here, little one!" A deep baritone says. It's voice is like distant thunder. "I can smell you. Your... sweat."
Oh, gross.
"This is my first hunt. I have waited for a skin like yours for a long time. I will not be made a fool in front of my brothers. You will be mine!"
Suddenly, It bursts into the pantry!
"AHHHH!!!" Nina screams.
The beast knocks aside a shelf filled with dry goods. In the commotion, the knife is knocked out of Nina's hands. She tries to get away but the monster, much bigger than her, manages to reach out and grab the girl by her waist. As she struggles in his grip, the beast can't help but laugh.
"This was fun. But as for what comes after? So much better."
Then, It holds her up to his face and lets out a long rattling breath. A cloud of noxious green gas sprays her in the face. Her struggling soon stops as the gas knocks her out cold. Nina goes limp in his grasp.

Stepping out of the pantry with his prize well won, Midden is greeted by one of his brothers. Another demon with a chipped horn and an **** woman of his own slung over his shoulder.
"So, How did it go?" The chipped one asks.
Midden holds up the girl and simply grins.
"Ah, well done! I saw that one earlier, That's a good catch. What of her companions?"
Midden says, "Yin managed to lure the other one away for Vicc to take for himself."
The chipped says, "Those two are quite the hunters."
"Indeed. But the two Sapphics managed to avoid the hunt, from what I hear. Copulating in the sauna all day. Missed the whole thing."
"Hmn. There'll be another hunt in a few days. They'll not escape."
"Yes, yes... But until then..."
"We evolve, brother!"
