...nothing had changed. Link was still a feminine sword spirit. Fi was still a male human. Sex did not, apparently, count as understanding. Link had to admit to herself that made sense. Still, what were they to do now? Link emerged from her sword and looked at Fi impassively, asking, "Master, our fornication last night had not helped us towards returning to our original forms. What would you suggest we do now?"

Fi looked at Link surprised, then gave her an unexpectedly coy smile. He asked her if she had noticed how deep into character she was acting. After all, he was the one under orders to act like Link, what was her excuse?

That question completely fizzled Link's mind for a few moments, and after admitting to herself that Fi was correct, actively tried to go against what was, at that moment, instinct. "Fi, I think that we're being **** to act like each other, and it's scaring me. We need to fix this as soon as possible..." Link wanted to end the sentence there, but wasn't able to stop herself adding, "...Master," to the end of it. It was difficult to think about Fi as being Fi, and not her master, the Hero.
