Thanksgiving Morning

She wasn’t sure how she got into her bed and assumed that she had been carried there by one of her friends but that’s where she woke up. Somehow both Ryan and Pauline had found room on her tiny twin bed to snuggle in with her. As she looked around she saw that Asuka was in the room with them but not in the bed. She had cleared the knick knacks and books from the top of the dresser in the room and laid on top of that. Jessica did her best to get out of bed without disturbing the other two and after making sure the others still had a blanket over them, patted Asuka on the head and went to her bag to grab some clean clothes. She couldn’t help but smile as she realized that instead of putting a blanket beneath herself, Asuka had apparently chosen to put Pauline and her own dirty clothes under her to sleep on. Apparently if she couldn’t sleep with Jessica and Pauline she at least wanted to have their scents close by.

The shower was already going when she walked into the bathroom but at this point being concerned over privacy was a ship that had long since sailed for pretty much everybody so Jessica didn’t even knock. When she walked in she found that two people were in the shower together. Andrea was bent over while Cameron fucked her bottom. As Jessica did her business on the toilet he came and got out of the way since he was already clean and three in the shower at the same time was a bit crowded. At this point it wasn’t a great shock to see it but Jessica was still curious about where they came from until she went over to the fridge to grab a glass of orange juice. The carton she grabbed was right next to the glass that Clara had milked Jade into two nights ago. As she poured the glass of juice for herself, Jess was certain she knew where the milk in her grandmother’s coffee had come from.

It only took a few seconds to solve the mystery and after she did she walked back over to sit next to her grandmother and pointed to her own head and decided to ask, “So, what’s with the new situation up here?”

The elderly lady just smiled and reached up to grab one of her horns. “Oh these? I don’t know, they just popped in about five minutes ago. I like them though, they’re cute aren’t they?”

Jessica nodded happily as she tentatively reached a hand out before her grandma tilted her head forward slightly to let Jessica feel one of her new horns. “Ooh, so smooth. Lily gave Jessica a knowing wink as she smiled thanking Jessica for reassuring her mother while acknowledging their shared secret. So long as she wasn’t upset and things weren’t difficult for her, there was no reason to be worried. The one concern Jessica had involved one of the other effects of the milk in the coffee. He shrugged his shoulders and looked, “It’s the first time I’ve spent any time around her and we’ve barely spoken but she seems nice. She used the wrong pronouns with Lily once but it seemed more out of habit than malice or disregard and said she was sorry. Really seems to like being around everyone. She was talking with Andrea when I was over there about some wrestling show she went to with her husband a long time ago when they were dating.”

Jessica nodded her head. “Huh. I don’t think I ever heard her talking about that before, though I guess it makes sense since me and Gerald never really got into the wrestling stuff. She has lots of fun stories though if you want to talk to her in the future. She has a lot of experience. Think you’d be interested in pulling her into a bedroom to gain some experience for yourself?” Ryan didn’t seem opposed but seemed to think asking would be more rude than anything until Jessica pointed out what she was drinking. “You got to know what Jade’s milk can do to a person’s head and at this point she’s probably gone through almost two cups of the stuff. You can imagine what that’s doing to her mind at this point.”

Ryan nodded his head and smiled, “Your room free?” Jessica said yes and Ryan stood up and went to talk to the older woman. She blushed and coughed hard for a moment before giving him a dismissive wave but the two kept talking for a little bit and within two minutes Ryan took the lady’s hand and discreetly led her down the hallway. As they left Gerald sat down next to Jessica. To her surprise he was wearing a full outfit without even being **** for once. “So where are they going?” Jessica let her brother know that their grandmother had unwittingly used Jade’s milk for her coffee and that was pretty much all Gerald needed to know to understand what was happening.

“It’s funny, I am dressed like this because after all we have gone through these past few weeks I still feel compelled to dress like a good little boy around grandma.”

All Jessica could do was laugh, “Yeah, you think it’s a coincidence that I knew she would be here today and chose this morning to wear my turtle neck and these pants?”

“I just thought there was an ugly sweater contest you didn’t tell me about.”

Jessica gave a snorting laugh at her brother’s joke and gave him a light punch in the forearm. “Fuck you.” Gerald took a moment to overdramatize the pain in his arm and complain about being abused. When he was done Jessica continued. “So have some fun with any of our guests this morning?”

Gerald sighed and shook his head. “Nope, as far as I can tell Ryan and Grandma are the only ones who’ve gotten any this morning. I spent this morning talking with Tanya about her parents since they’re supposed to be coming over later this morning. What she says doesn’t paint a pretty picture and I pray to everything good and holy that whatever the double-R did to them, it’ll change their personality or allow us to do it because what Tanya told me makes them sound insufferable.”

“They abandoned their daughter for having the nerve to question what she was told so I can’t imagine they’d be all that great. Is it worse than that even?” Jessica took a bite of her pancake as she let her brother share what he had learned.

“Well, her father is basically everything that keeps you off of social media. The stereotypical gym rat alpha male prick that listens to nothing but conservative talk radio and spends a good chunk of his money on whatever cum-boosting male supplements they are hocking at the moment in a **** attempt to pump out as many children as possible without regard to whether they have the money to support them. And of course he’s always over the internet spreading bullshit after horseshit after ‘doing his own research’.”

Jessica groaned at Gerald’s description. With a guy like that she could only imagine what the wife would be like and was afraid to ask but did so anyway. Gerald said Tanya’s mother last they were together had a diet that was over 75% Coke Zero and as a result was rail thin and malnourished. Shortly before parting ways Tanya had pointed to some of what she had learned about biology and the fact that their inability to give Tanya any siblings despite their best efforts could be partially due to her mom being underweight. In response both of her parents said that several doctors told them the same thing and that they had refused to go back to every doctor afterward. Gerald said that conspiracy theories about Bill Gates trying to depopulate the world, microchips and chemical castrating vaccines, and processed foods being secret poison followed for over an hour after Tanya made that one simple suggestion.

“You know, one of the things I like about everything so far is that it has kept most of the people we’ve used it on intact for the most part. No great changes to their core selves with aside from maybe Sue. I think we have the first people that I want to see it totally switch around.”

That’s when Gerald suggested the possibility that the Remote might not even work on them. Since they were now sort of part of Tanya’s path, maybe that would count as them being complete. The thought of which made Jessica put her hands up to her head and rub her eyes as she thought about some of the problems if that were the case. She couldn’t imagine their love of trans people would be that great so it would cause problems with Lily which of course would immediately bleed over to issues with Sarah. Not to mention Sarah being a doctor, Jessica herself going to school for medicine, and Gerald studying science that they would probably argue against until both sides were blue in the face. But the four of them were relatively tame and calm, both of them agreed that they would get along with the Danielson parents like old friends compared to Clara. While often the most friendly and welcoming of the family, she could also be the most abstinent and argumentative when someone got her dander up and what Gerald described was just the kind of thing that most easily got her going. If the Random Remote didn’t work or they weren’t able to somehow alter the personalities, managing them in the current household would be exceptionally difficult.

It wasn’t more than an hour and a half before Gerald and Jessica were sitting in the garage with the door open, doing their best to sit with Tanya and look friendly. Gerald’s physical description of the two met with what she expected. Both of her parents were on the taller side and had blond hair. Dad had a rather thick, muscular frame while mom looked unhealthily skinny. The Thompson siblings and Tanya were all pleasantly surprised to hear how malleable, straight-forward, and honest her parents were as the discussion progressed which made things appear a lot more optimistic. Apparently the Random Remote wasn’t kidding when it said Jessica, Gerald, and Lily would be seen as authority figures. Not only did Alex and Carol Danielson enthusiastically embrace prostitution and just about any tips or ideas that the three suggested to make them better hookers, but day-to-day behaviors and opinions also seemed at least somewhat open to being edited. At the very least the two were able to stifle any significant disagreement.

That wasn’t the only very pleasant surprise that Gerald and Jessica received though. Tanya’s parents didn’t wind up being the only two that got caught up in the ‘close to Tanya and want to be hookers now’ wave that went out through the planet. One of Tanya’s friends from high school, church, and Bible study had apparently gotten into contact with her parents right after they had gotten off the phone with Tanya last night. After a little talking they decided to at least try to use the Random Remote on her as an experiment to see if they could. They would use what happened with her to figure out what to do with the others. They still decided privacy when using the remote was probably recommended but it wasn’t exactly hard to acquire. Telling the three new recruits to do something simple like stand up, turn around, and look away was followed without question. In fact Katie even made an effort to stick out her ass as if she thought that this was part of her hooker job interview and just wanted to make herself look more enticing. At level 4 they thought that it was probably safe to tell Tanya about the remote but they didn’t want to do so in front of three new, still relatively unknown individuals. So as a way to get her out of the picture for a moment they asked her to go grab a round of hot cocoas for everyone. “Ask Sarah or Lily to help you find the stuff, and we would appreciate some marshmallows if they have any.”

With her out of the way and the other three tentatively looking away, Jessica pointed the remote at target number one and hit the button. It actually worked but Gerald and Jessica received a message they hadn’t anticipated.

TARGET IS ALREADY UNDER SECONDARY EFFECTS OF ANOTHER RANDOM REMOTE PATH. CREATE NEW PATH OR BEGIN PATH COMPATIBLE WITH CURRENT EFFECTS?

After that the phrase NEW PATH appeared on the screen in red while CURRENT COMPATIBILITY appeared in green. As far as she could guess the remote was giving her a choice. Letting her start from scratch as a brand new, level 1 situation and removing the effects of Tanya’s path or letting her keep the whore adjustments and gaining her own path that was compatible with what she already had. Jessica placed a hand over the green button and looked at Gerald who nodded that they both thought the same thing. If what they were thinking was accurate, gaining any trace of the previous Carol would be a nightmare so they definitely preferred to stick with the current adjustments and work from there. Jessica hit the green button and waited for the result.

Both Jessica and Gerald gave the other an approving look. A more ‘voluptuous figure’ likely meant more meat on her bones, particularly in the places she needed it and with the way her body was now, that could only be a massive step in the right direction. The fact that Carol would become an 18 year old with a 21 year old daughter of course would normally be a thing that raised many many eyebrows around the world but Jessica was fairly certain that whatever magic ran through the remote would also ensure nobody gave it a second thought. At least not without somebody deliberately pointing out the odd nature therein. The rollback in age seemed a bit odd but it wasn’t as if Jessica was going to complain about that, it would probably provide Carol with more potential customers so it was a win.

She then pointed the remote at Tanya’s father Alex, looked at Gerald to see if he thought they should try to hit him with the remote too. Gerald’s response was to shrug his shoulders and give her a thumbs up. The interpretation Jessica got from that was ‘your call but I say go for it’. She gave it a little bit of a thought though she knew it was pointless to do so. As much as she kept intending to set the remote aside and let it rest, to let her current supply of targets be completed before adding more, she just found it impossible to actually do it. The thought of this guy having sex with her or Megan was too compelling to pass up. She selected Alex and once again was given the option to go with something wholly original or something hooker-compatible. She decided to keep the prostitution segment alive and go with something that fit that line.

Jessica wasn’t too sure about that one as far as making them useful in terms of prostitution but it sounded like this would definitely be a personality improvement if her, Gerald, and the rest of the family could steer the man in the right direction. Of course how that one progressed could also be an important part of the situation so time would tell as well.

That left them with just Katie. Of all the three, she was the only one where Jessica felt there was really a question about whether or not to use the remote. Though just like Alex, it wasn’t going to take a great deal of encouragement to make her use the remote again. Jessica looked over at Gerald who pointed at himself, the remote, and then at Katie. He wanted to be the one to start her. Which as Jessica thought about it, they probably should have done since the beginning. She had the ability to upgrade someone on sight and without the remote so letting Gerald start them and letting her progress them whenever would have been the smarter move. But it was too late for that now as she handed the remote to Gerald who selected the last woman and continued with with a prostitution compatible path.

That raised some eyebrows as Jessica and Gerald both gave one another some thoughtful looks over that one. Before they started though Alex took his drink and looked at Jessica with a warm smile. “Why did the hot chocolate call the cops?” After a pause for dramatic effect he gave the punchline. “Because it got mugged.” Which got a round of groans from just about everybody at the table with Jessica and Gerald realizing that this was likely going to be far from the last dad joke they were going to get from him.

As the three discussed their sex histories, they found out that Carol and Katie had basically polar opposite sexualities. Thanks to the Random Remote they were pretty sure that Carol was being honest when she claimed to have never really had any homosexual attractions or moments where she even questioned her sexuality. Gerald said it best. “If you want it, and they want it, and you’re both adults go for it.”

Tanya’s lesbian attraction to Tanya and Alex’s hidden gay tendencies were the bigger surprises unveiled but Carol had a surprise as well. Apparently she had never had an orgasm. Jessica decided at this point it was time for the interview to become more practical.
