Thanksgiving Break: A trip to the mall (Luck: +15)

Tammy insisted that she take the girls to the mall for a trip.

"I don't get to have as much girl time as I would like." she said adding "After all--God only gave me sons."

"Well I certainly don't want to go to the mall." Luke said glad to have dodged a bullet.

"Yeah we can smoke cigars and enjoy a whiskey bar or go golfing or something." Tommy said with a grin.

"That's the spirit. Well you boys have fun--we will be at the mall." Tammy said very content with herself.

So Tammy, Leah, and Ashley spent the next day at the mall and various shopping outlets. Ashley was mostly complaining about how she couldn't really find great clothes to hide her pregnant bulk. Even still she was more than happy to help Leah find new things to try on. Tammy was constantly on the lookout for good deals even if the outfit wasn't particularly good--so long as it was cheap.

"So are you excited for the wedding?" Ashley asked Leah as they looked at pants.

"Oh of course! It will be great." Leah smiled as she sorted through a rack posh looking winter slacks.

"I'll at least be free of this baby fat by that time. Are you ready for kids yet?" Ashley asked giving Leah a sly grin.

"Oh no no no--not yet." Leah's eyes went wide when she thought all about the responsibility that would bring.

"Ha ha ha I felt the same way at first. But it isn't such a bad thing Leah." Ashley said with a smile.

"I think I just want to enjoy a bit more of the child free life at the moment." Leah responded with a chuckle.

Tammy interrupted them to point out some buy one get one half off deal. Overall the time they spent shopping was a success and Leah came away with a few new sets of clothes and a bit more rejuvenated.
