As the first woman placed the menus on the table and went away, Jenna began to speak to Maria, and as Lauren had prayed for did not seem to notice that her hated rival was in a diaper sitting in a high chair only a few feet away from her. “Hello Ma’am what would you like to order today?” Jenna said in a well rehearsed manner. “Oh I would like an egg and cheese sandwich with bacon and some fries on the side”. Maria ordered “ And your drink” Jenna added. “ Ummm, Oh a Latte would be lovely.”Maria told her “Okay Ma’am and for the little one today?”

“Little one” Lauren scoffed internally afraid that making too much noise would lead to her being noticed . She was Jenna’s boss for crying out loud and now this she was in this situation of being in a diaper suck in a high chair while being ‘Babysat’ by Maria of all people! “For the little angel she will have…the ‘Mega Fun’ French toast and fries with a side of eggs and apple juice.” Jenna quietly wrote down the order and without another work headed away.

At this Lauren couldn’t help but gasp silently. Jenna the person she worked with and disliked with a passion had just slipped by Lauren at her most exposed time in her life. How was this damned diaper masking her identity so good, did no one actually notice that the supposed baby in the middle of the cafe was the assistant manager, did she really look that different and child like. Maria noticing Lauren’s shock leaned in close and said “ To be honest I kinda wanted this to happen just so we can continue this whole thing.”

Soon after a different waiter brought their food and drinks and they both began eating. To add to Lauren’s surprise today the ‘Mega Fun’ food was actually half decent, sure Lauren would like to eat actual adult food, but she wasn’t that upset by this. As Maria sipped on her latte she couldn’t help but stifle some chuckles, the fact the Lauren Adkins the lady with the biggest ego this side of the Mississippi was now eating almost nude in the middle of a cafe brought deep satisfaction to her.
