Thane and Eos. (WM Main Branch)

Thane and Eos, two young lovers in a crazy world, in this crazy world. Thane hadn't known Eos very long he'd say around six months or so and they had been dating for around four months of the six. She seemed perfect, always so kind with an innocent kind of beauty about her. The two of them had recently got an apartment together wanting to further their relationship, in fact, it had been about a week and they were just finishing fully moving in. Neither of the two had parents or family. Thane never knew his parents or any family he might have he was mostly raised in an orphanage until he was sixteen when he ran away from the orphanage and found work. And despite his past look where he was now, he never lost a positive outlook and it allowed him to flourish. Eos didn't like to talk about her past much, Thane could only assume there were scars, perhaps some still healing. Thane didn't believe Eos to be hiding anything harmful, when he asked her about her past it seemed to make her melancholic. Thane couldn't help but notice however that the two that were lost and alone find each other and give one another the happiness each lacked. Thane couldn't help but love their story and hoped their relationship would go far. It was nearly Thane's birthday when he'll be turning twenty-three. Eos was twenty and would be twenty-one in about three or so months as well.

Thane had a tall and athletic build at 6'1" with muscles toned enough to look as if he went to the gym regularly even though he does not. He had medium hair caught somewhere between blonde and brown. Thane's eyes were deep ocean blue that shone beautifully in the sunlight. He had a short but thick beard that went well with his facial structure. He preferred to dress in light plaid shirts that fit in just the right way with blue jeans for bottoms giving him a nice mix of casual and formal. His facial features were strong and held noticeable masculinity.

Eos was nearly perfect, she had the features of a goddess. She was 5'4" the perfect height in Thane's opinion. She had a nice build skinny waist with generous assets, her ass was plump and perky and her breasts measured out to be D cup holding good size as well as perkiness. Eos too was lightly toned but not as much as Thane, she had abs but they were barely noticeable on her skinny abdomen. Uniquely Eos had green eyes and Thane swore that they glowed sometimes despite Eos's protests. Eos had chestnut brown hair that went down to her lower back that beautifully flowed in the wind. Eos also liked to wear jeans but hers perfectly took the shape of her waist and ass leaving little to the imagination. She preferred to wear smaller form-fitting t-shirts but it varied upon the day.

Additionally, Both Eos and Thane were switches when it came to sex roles. Thane however usually played the dominant one whilst Eos was usually a shy submissive. And here they were in their newly acquired one-bedroom apartment happier than they have been since the beginning of their lives.

After setting down the last box out of the moving truck on the kitchen table Thane turned and faced Eos.

"Well that's the last of it, we're fully moved in!" Thane said excitedly with a small huff turning to face his girlfriend.

"This is already so wonderful, I'm so excited to spend my time here with you Thane," Eos responded looking slightly shy and smiling at Thane.

"I actually want to tell you something, Thane. It's about my past, or what used to be. I've been with you long enough that I think you're the one I want to dedicate myself to. And I think you're ready to hear my biggest truth," Eos said looking down saddened as she usually did when her past was brought up.

"I... Okay. I'm ready to listen, don't be afraid to take your time," Thane said understanding the atmosphere taking a seat at their kitchen table and turned the chair to face Eos.

"I'm not exactly who you think I am... Well, I'm not entirely who I have said I was." Eos said a hint of guilt lining her tone looking up at Thane.

With this Thane seemed to fidget a bit as if he had a suspicion in the past, he didn't, however, say anything instead he put his head in his hands and looked to say "Go on." Seeing and reading Thane's body language Eos looked as if she felt a pang of guilt but continued. "I... Well... I am a Goddess. And I hold a great deal of power over reality and everything that lives here." Eos stuttered struggling to admit the truth and showing just how insane she makes herself sound.

Upon hearing this Thane could only furrow his brow and put an expression on his face that said "Okay, where'd you get the from?" Thane then sat in silence for a few moments considering what Eos said. This at least made some sense considering Eos was so unwilling to talk about her past, also she sounds completely sober. After organizing his thoughts Thane spoke. "This is definitely an interesting turn of events, and if what you say is true you can change reality as we know it. Or at least I assume you can. But you have more to tell me than just that your expression says there's more," He said still in disbelief.

Eos seemed to see he was still in disbelief at the truth she spoke. "Yes, there is more. The reason I don't like to remember my past." With this Thane shifted slightly and sat back seemingly ready to consider what Eos said next. "Six thousand some odd years ago there was a great battle, one between the gods including myself and the titans. The Titans had grown strong and restless after being locked away by us gods for so long and somehow became stronger in their prison until they ultimately broke free. We gods were losing by a landside unable to match the titan's newfound power." Eos stopped for a moment recalling her past. "The battle went on for nearly ten years, several gods had fallen to the Titans. By this point, only five gods remained me and four others. We however had a plan so that earth would be spared and could live on, only this plan required all but one of us gods to be sacrificed to one. It was an ancient art that fused one's power into another, and if the five gods that remained merged into one they would gain the power to control reality itself." A tear seemed to roll down Eos's face but she continued. "For some reason, all the other four wanted it to be me unanimously. And before I could offer any protest they all gave me their power fading from the world, I never even got to offer my vote before they gave themselves to me. Feeling great anger and loss from all the god's deaths I waged the ultimate war upon the titans erasing each of them one by one until none remained," She finished as she started to cry when she finished looking as if she relived her past.

With this, Thane got up and offered Eos a hug holding her tightly. "I've known you long enough to know you're not lying and that this is the truth," Thane said pulling her closer to himself. "I was so happy when I noticed human life after a couple of thousand years of solitude and silence, I decided I would live alongside the humans and help them along until they were civilized," Eos said into Thane's shoulder still crying. "But you. You were the first that has really piqued my interest, I truly feel as if you are my true love," Eos continued speaking into Thane's shoulder.

This was a lot to take in, Thane couldn't fully bring himself to come to terms that what Eos said and what he knew was the truth. Perhaps he was in denial and that's why he hadn't freaked out yet. Ultimately he knew one thing: he loved Eos and nothing could change that. Deciding it was late and they both could use the night's rest and further thought into this Thane carried Eos into their room unable to fully grasp the concept his girlfriend beheld to him but before he could consider it more they were both quick to fall asleep.
