Thalzor reveals the truth of the Tarkat curse

Thalzor looks around at everyone who's surrounding him

Thalzor: If none of you will make the first move, then so will I

Thalzor flicks his finger towards Jessie and Cassie, unleashing an amazing amount of force

Sonya: WATCH OUT

Sonya tackles Jessie and her daughter out of the way as the force of the attack brings down a building

Tanya: What destructive power

Tifa: FOCUSED STRIKE

Tifa's foot catches fire, and she kicks Thalzor in the chest with everything she has, but it doesn't do anything

Thalzor: A good attempt, you should be proud, but it's not enough to hurt me

Thalzor punches Tifa in the stomach, making her spit out blood as she is sent flying against a building

Byleth: TIFA!

Skarlet: EVERYBODY TOGETHER, WE DON'T STAND A CHANCE OTHERWISE

Skarlet uses her blood magic to create spikes and sends them towards Thalzor while Jessie, Sonya, and Cassie start shooting with their magic guns, but their attacks just bounce off of his skin

Sonya: IT'S NO USE, THE ARMOR ON HIS SKIN IS TOO THICK TO BE PENETRATED

Jade jumps in the air and brings down her staff, Thalzor punches against it, but the staff is able to withstand his punches

Jade: GOOD, IT'S STRONG ENOUGH

Jade keeps blocking Thalzor's hits with her staff while Li Mei and Tanya both shoot their fireballs.

Jade: VANISHING WINDS

Jade slams her staff on the ground, creating a green cloud and teleports away. The cloud makes sure Thalzor doesn't see the fireballs coming so he takes a direct hit, but it still doesn't hurt him

Jade teleports above him lands on his back and puts her staff against his throat with all her strength to try and choke him out

Thalzor: A good plan, but not enough

He grabs Jade by her braid and slams her on the ground. He then brings down his fist but before he can hit her, a fan blade is thrown into his eyes, making him miss

Kitana: JADE, GET AWAY

Jade runs back as Kitana calls her fan blade back

Thalzor: Clever, but that will not be enough to hurt me

Kitana: IMPOSSIBLE, I HIT HIM IN THE EYE, AND IT'S FINE

Thalzor: My eye is a weak spot, but Origin demons like me can regenerate as long as our core is intact. My eye will be the only thing you guys could hurt

Jade: Nothing about him is normal, Princess

Thalzor: Princess? You must be one of the two daughters of Empress Sindell

Mileena: AND I'M THE SECOND ONE

Thalzor looks up as Mileena teleports in and brings down her two Sai, Thalzor readies his fist but hesitates when he sees that she has been infected with the Tarkat curse

Kitana: he stopped?

Kitana uses her fans and wind magic to make her sister move faster, Mileena then throws her two Sai into his eye, blinding him temporarily again

Mileena: My attacks won't work, let's see if this will

She uses her sharp teeth to bite into his flesh, and to everyone's surprise, her teeth go through his steel-like skin, drawing blood

Thalzor: I didn't want to do this

He throws Mileena off of him and slams her away with his tail

Kitana: SISTER!

Kitana creates a small tornado with her fangs, which catches Mileena, as Thalzor rips the two sai out of his eye

Mileena: My teeth can penetrate his skin

Thalzor: So one of the Princesses has been infected with the curse. I am really sorry, that you had to suffer

As Thalzor walks forward, he suddenly hears a roar. He turns around just as Baraka jumps at him with both of the sharp bones sticking out of his arm, Thalzor blocks the strikes with his fists, but just like Mileena's teeth, they actually can damage his skin

Mileena: YOU'RE ALL STILL ALIVE?

Baraka: WE ARE PRINCESS, WE WILL HELP YOU IN THIS FIGHT, WHILE REIKO DEALS WITH SHAO

Thalzor sees all the other Tarkatans, as his body regenerates the cuts and bite mark left by Mileena and Baraka

Kitana: IT'S NOT OVER. WE CAN BEAT HIM

Thalzor: No, you can't

They all look in confusion at Thalzor, who doesn't look too happy

Thalzor: I am sorry, for all of you who suffer under the curse. I was against this plan, as was my big brother, but the other generals were for it

Mileena: What are you talking about

Thalzor: The curse you're all under, we brought it here

All the Tarkattens: WHAT

Thalzor: Who among you is patient zero

Baraka: I am

Thalzor: Then it is you who I must truly apologize for. You were injected with unfiltered blood of the demon queen. Normally, this is done with filtered blood and a ritual to transform people into a kind of demon, but as it was done to you it transformed you into this

Baraka: YOU DID THIS TO ME

Thalzor: No, this was done by another demon. No origin demon would do this, turning innocent people into monsters like you, it lacks honor

Thalzor: This was done to create soldiers we could control, so I'm truly sorry for what I'm about to do, but I need to get to Empress Sindel

Mileena: I won't let you near Mother

Thalzor looks down in shame as she starts to roar with all her strength

Kitana: Is that supposed to scare us

Mileena suddenly drops to her knees and grabs her own head

Tanya: MILEENA! WHAT'S WRONG

Mileena: S-stay away, the curse, it's t-taking over

Kitana looks as all the other cursed ones are acting the same

Baraka: M-my sanity, I c-can feel it slipping away, the bloodlust is taking over

Kitana runs to Mileena and hugs her

Kitana: I'm here sister. Fight it, you've beaten it before. You're strong

Mileena: I can't; I must kill, I must spread the disease

Mileena pushes Kitana away

Mileena: RUN!

Mileena, Baraka and the rest of the cursed ones stop speaking and start screaming like feral monsters

Thalzor: Cursed ones, keep them busy, while I deal with Empress Sindel

The Tarkatans start attacking their allies

Kitana: Don't make me do this, Mileena

Mileena screams before running at her sister like a bloodthirsty beast

Thalzor: I hate that I need to do this, it goes against my honor, but I will not fail this mission

Thalzor heads for the castle
