Texas plays a game of her own!

Texas was on Rivercrest’s turf in a building probably teeming with guards and/or staff who would shriek and call the guards if Texas tried anything. Coupling that with the fact that Texas still wasn’t sure what the full scope of what Rivercrest could do was...she didn’t want to take any chances. “Alright, Miss Gildegarden. Y’all get yer rest. I’ll be at yer factory first thing in the mornin’.”

Rivercrest acknowledged Texas with a nod and a wider smile. “So glad you could see reason, dear. Alex, please return their weapons.”

Texas’ eyes went wide as she felt around her holster and discovered that she was unarmed! When had the raccoon taken her gun? Well, either way Texas was grateful she didn’t need her pistol. Alex gladly handed her and April back their weapons and began to lead the two women out of the estate. However, Texas wasn’t taking ANY chances. As soon as they got to the first floor, Texas grabbed her stomach and made a pained groan. “G-guh...dammit, ah knew that sausage weren’t no good anymore...y’all mind if I use the restroom real quick? Ah can find mah way out from here.”

Luckily for Texas, the maid wasn’t going to argue, and quickly showed Texas to the nearest bathroom before going back to his appointed task of escorting April out. As the two left, Texas could hear April saying something like, “wait, how come she gets ta stay longer without me? I wan-”

Damn, April was more spellbound than Texas thought. She really was going to have to get to the bottom of this now rather than later. As it stood though, Texas didn’t quite know what it was in Rivercrest’s house she was looking for. Documents? Deeds? Letters detailing her plans? That damn watch? All Texas knew is that she was hell bent on finding something here before she just turned tail and went home! Texas took a quick peek outside the bathroom door, making sure nobody was looking, and then snuck right on out. Now, she had to figure out where exactly it was she should look for anything that might help her against Rivercrest. She had a whole lotta house to search through after all!
