Test in the mirror

John is an average looking guy. Around five foot eleven inches, dark brown hair, pale skin, he wasn't particularly in shape but his body could be considered fit. His friend, Greg, was six foot two and incredibly handsome. He always made fun of John for not reaching the six foot mark. "Maybe if you stood on your tippy toes," Greg would say before chuckling to himself. John looked in the mirror chuckling to himself. Hey, if this works it'll be fun as hell rubbing it in Greg's face. Not at all convinced of the power he possessed.

John looked into the mirror. _I'm six foot three. _And he winked.

John watched himself grow in the mirror as the extra four inches in height nauseated him for only a second before he came to reminded him of the headache he had. Amazed that it worked but overpowered by the throbbing pain, he quickly looked in the mirror and thought I don't have a headache anymore.

And just like that the feeling was gone. As John stepped back in amazement he realized that none this felt unnatural. He just grew four inches in height in mere seconds but somehow he felt he'd always been this tall. He knows that he changed his height and he knows that he used to be 5 foot eleven, but he doesn't remember anything besides being six foot three. He does however remember the splitting headache he had. Was it because I thought "anymore". Does the intention make a difference to the power? And does this power really change all of reality? John was freshly determined to find out.
