Test Manipulate on Lucy

Dev put on a heavy, raspy voice: "Lucy, I think I might take a long lunch today. Would it be okay if I get a little less work? Maybe you could do some of the work Shannon gave me earlier?" Dev peered into her eyes to reach her soul and convince her to do his bidding. In the end... it doesn't turn out the way he wanted.

Lucy's face and tone switched from close and friendly to quite disappointed. She found it extraodinary that a trainee would request to do less work on his first day. "Ummm... no. Dev, it sounds like you don't know what you got yourself into, becoming a Trainee Solicitor in the field of law. If you're lacking in work ethic, maybe Shannon and I can give you some extra work to change that. Why don't you go back to your desk and I might email you later."

Lucy was repulsed by Dev's words. She ranks higher in the firm as an Associate, and so has a higher Resolve than Dev. Dev cannot use his powers effectively against Lucy and as a result he embarassed himself in front of his superiors. If he keeps using his powers in failure, his reputation will deteriorate further. (When Reputation reaches 0, Dev is fired and you lose the game)
