Test, and last night before the mission.

The next morning, Sakura woke up early to sneak back into her room. Yamato then let them have breakfast, before giving Naruto and Sai the test to catch him.

Still, the preparations proceeded, and Yamato came up with the plan to impersonate Sasori to question the spy, before an attempt to capture was made. This was a twofold plan of sorts. First, it gave them an additional element of surprise, and second, even if they failed to capture the spy alive, it would endure they didn't return empty handed at least.
