Terri

Far from stupid, Terri was well aware that James inherited his brain from her. By 24, she'd almost had a PhD in astrophysics and an internship at NASA locked in. She gave it all up in a heartbeat, when she'd gotten pregnant. Her babies became her life, and she loved every second.

That same intelligence had her buying random household cleaners and food from different places, as a way to slowly purchase the items on her list...because she saw clearly the two men from earlier tailing her. They definitely were being careful, and had been buying one or two little things to keep from looking suspicious.

That didn't matter much. She turned her attention back to her cashier. "Hey, so do you think you could do me a teeny favor?"

The small blonde looked up with a fake smile. One she definitely had to wear to keep her job. "If I can, sure!", she said.

"There's two guys in white suits, they've been following me all around the store..."

"I can call security right now-", her tone was suddenly serious. At least she wouldn't underestimate a stalker.

Terri shook her head gently, lowering her voice. "No, they were at my house earlier too. Do you think you could hassle them enough to let me get home and call the police?"

The girl bit her lip. "I...can try to.", she took a glance at the men. She seemed to notice their eyes locked onto her customer. "I'll do what I can."

"Thank you. I'd rather not risk them knowing I know..."

The girl nodded and finished the transaction quickly. Terri noticed her immediately slow down her actions, in spite of the customers after complaining.

At a calm pace, Terri continued acting oblivious to them. She soon heard the same girl's voice over another employee's radio.
