Terra's Workplace Initiation

Author's Note: This is somewhat based on a series of tweeted pictures by theblackbirdcalls.

For many people, once you get the job you wanted it's set in stone, and you don't need to worry about any more tests or qualifications. Unfortunately, for Terra, her new workplace has one more test in store for her before the job is official. You see all the new female workers who take the job must first go through "Initiation".

Boss: Congratulations Mrs. Arc, I'm sure your education and work experience will be put to good use here, I can feel it!

Terra: Thank you very much for having me and please just call me Terra! Anyway, where perhaps is my workstation located?

Boss: On floor six and don't worry you'll see your spot towards the middle with your name located by it.

Terra: Alrighty then I best get started right away!

Boss: Why'll I appreciate your enthusiasm there's still one last thing we need to go over with you.

Terra: Oh, what may that be exactly?

Boss: You see every new female employee that walks through these doors must undertake our company's "Initiation" on their first day of work!

Terra: Initiation? What kind of Initiation?

Boss: Simple, all you have to do is just wear these and last until the entire day! Do so and you'll be considered a full-time employee!

He places a pair of black stilettos on the table to which Terra is left a bit confused as to why they'd need to make the female employees wear stilettos for their initiation but if that's all there was to it then she couldn't really complain.

Terra: Well, if this is all then I guess I don't really mind.

Boss: Fantastic, now would you prefer to leave your clothes here or would you rather keep them in a bag to take with you?

Terra: Pardon?

Boss: Your clothes, would you rather leave them here or put them in a bag while wearing the stilettos?

Terra: Why would I need to give you my clothes over a pair of stilettos? I'm not working in the nude.

Boss: But you just agreed to it?

Terra: WHAT!? When did I ever say that I'd be working in the NUDE!!

Boss: OOOOOHH, I think I understand what's going on here! My apologies Terra, but when I said that you needed to "just wear these" I should have said "just wear only these", sorry for the confusion.

Terra: Forget about the confusion, what about the part where you want me to walk out of this office with nothing but a pair of shoes and expect me to just be okay with this!? What about the other people in the building!? Am I really supposed to just spend the entire day naked with people all around me watching as I'm trying to work!?

Boss: Like I said this is a tradition in this company, you can even ask your female coworkers and they'll tell how they went through the same thing who still went about their day and are still working here to this day. If you don't want to go through with this that's fine however it will mean that you'll be relinquishing your spot here in the company for one of the others who are looking to join.

She had to let that thought sink in for a bit. If Terra decided to go ahead with this for just today, then her position is guaranteed in the company. However, if she gives up now then she forfeits the job she has been working so hard to get for so long. She then starts to think about her loving wife Saphron as well as their son's future, this job pays well and the benefits were too good to pass up. She sighs and makes her decision to go through with the initiation despite how she really doesn't want to do it but for her family, she was willing to swallow up her fear and do what is necessary to get the job. She slowly begins to strip in front of her boss before finally removing the last remaining article of clothing she had and then changing out her shoes for the stilettos.

Since she doesn't have a bag with her, she decides to leave her clothes with her boss and heads to the elevator so that she can get to her workstation on the sixth floor. As the door closes she takes a moment to let out a sigh of relief since no one was in the elevator with her. Unfortunately, that would no longer be the case when after only going down one level the door to the elevator swung open once again, and two men took notice of Terra's outfit, or at least lack thereof before finally walking into the elevator. They put in their intended destination and finally the door closes once again. Now Terra had to wait inside a cramped elevator with two men ogling her naked body until she reaches her destination.

Terra: *Gulp* (Now I just need to get through the rest of the day knowing full well that I'll be naked and surrounded by all my coworkers...)
