Tell the truth

You took the opportunity.

"He was forcing me to call myself a little bitch" you said.

"Because you fucking punched me" he shouted back.

"Because you were saying demeaning shit about my girlfriend" you shout.

"I've heard enough. Jerry, go back to your room, I'll deal with you"

Jerry, annoyed, swore under his breath. "I didn't make you call you MY little bitch" he grinned. As he exited the room, he continued "And Lillian know how to use that mouth".

Dad had reacted to smack Jerry but he ran out of reach and sight. He looked over at you, with a disappointed look. His frame towered over you. He didn't sit down or even level with you, he just stood there.

"I don't know where I went wrong with you" he started. That stung.

"You're old enough to know that the world is unfair. And there are two types of men in this world. Ones who create a world of their own, and others who seek to join the worlds of better men. I raised you to be your own man, and not like your mum. Only girls should look to join those worlds."

He starts to leave the room.

"Jerry's just a dick, it's not fair" you retort.

"Respect is a two-way street. You have to earn it." he leaves the room completely.

You feel humiliated and emasculated.

Shortly after, you hear shouting from your brother's room next door.

"All my saves were on there!" he shouted. You see dad exit the room with a seemingly broken PS4, something he cherished.

Jerry protested, following him before a slam of the door. Jerry appeared in your doorway, nothing but pure anger in his face, and clenched fists. He stares at you for a few seconds before leaving to his room.

You knew you were going to suffer as a result.
