Tell some nonsense

"Well, I am in fact a demon, sent from another realm to punish the haughty in whatever ways I see fit. And I, in my infinite otherworldly wisdom, have chosen to forego bodily harm but instead employ the ways you've come to know and love."

Evellyn glares at you unconvinced. She's not buying it for a second.

"So you think I'm haughty."

Oops. You open your mouth to answer but no words directly materialize.

"Uhm.. A, a little bit? Look, you tried killing me, okay, that counts."

She squints. "Uhu. Sure."

She doesn't believe a word of your story but she plays along. "So, mister demon, why only women? Men can be haughty too."

"Oh men are in another demon's jurisdiction. We're very bureaucratic."
