Tell her that you like her

"Um..." you stall for time, not sure yet if you can actually go through with this.

"What is it Daniel?" she says, stopping and taking hold of your hand.

"I..." you can't believe you're actually saying this. "I like you."

She looks confused, obviously not sure how to interpret the word 'like'

"I've had a crush on you since the ninth grade." you clarify.

"Really?" she asks. "Why did you never ask me out then?"

"At first I was afraid you'd say no?" you admit. "And then we became good friends and I was afraid to loose you."

She just looks at you for a moment.

"I knew I shouldn't have said anything." you start to panic. "Now I've made everything awkward."

"Daniel!" she says almost sternly, as she takes your other hand and looks into your eyes. "Calm down."

"Okay." you say, taking a few deep breaths. "I'm sorry."

She starts walking again, keeping hold of one of your hands. "Let's go out for dinner tonight."

"You mean like a date?" you ask excitedly and instantly regret it. What if that's not what she meant?

"Yes." She says. with a smile. "Like a date."

As soon as you get home you make a booking at a nice restaurant and start getting ready. You've had meals alone together before bit this is going to be different.

After the meal Stephanie suggests a movie and you eagerly agree. You'd want this night to go on forever if it could.

As the movie starts, Stephanie slides closer and puts her arm around you. You appreciate the physical affection but it's a little weird. You're the guy, aren't you meant to put your arm around her? A little while later she moves your head down to rest against her breast.
