"Oh, no no no you're totally fine, don't sweat it!" You quickly reply, seeing her expression shift to one of relief.

"And you can just call me John. Sorry, this is all just particularly jarring for me because, I actually never intended to order you. I didnt know you would be here until you arrived." You explain with a nervous laugh.

Her expression again shifts from relief, to a more perplexed look. "Oh, I see, we don't really have any introduction routines to follow for hosts that didn't intend to receive us, um..." She paused, making a determined thinking face that accentuated the cute dimples on her cheeks"

"Well, that's okay, we Androids are well equipped with an 'adaptive' setting to get to know hosts via unstructured interactions as well. It may take a little longer, but I will do my best to adapt to whatever role we may find for me to best assist you, and improve your life!"

At that she stood up and closed the short distance between the two of you, extending her hand. "It's a pleasure to meet you John, and I'm excited to get to know you. For starters, why don't you tell me a little bit about yourself, your interests, and if there's anything in particular you think I could help with?"

As you accept her handshake, you're once again stricken by her lifelike detail, her skin is soft, and her smaller hand even feels a little warm. You quickly think of all the things in your life, and realize the potential of having another person - well, Android - there to help you with any or all of it.
