Tell The Truth

"Look, Harmony, I-" you are suddenly cut off as she wavers her finger again. Her expression still shows the same rage as before. She does not want to hear what you have to say.

"Save it!!" she shouts. "I don't care what your pathetic reasons are! You defiled me, and did not even care!!" As she impales you with this blade of words, you notice that her voice begins to waver at the end. Her bottled up emotions are coming to the surface. If you can push just a little, she may break her wall of anger.

"Harmony... I am sorry. I truly am." You project these words into her mind, as you learned in Psionics class. She seems to be taken slighly aback by this, but does not lash out immediately. "You are right. I did not think of your feelings and treat you with the respect you deserve. I was lost in the satisfaction of the moment, and did not consider how you must have felt."

This admission felt good. You had been doing what you wanted and having a great time, but reflecting on her feelings and how she must think of you made you realize that you needed to think before acting more often. Harmony seems to be more calm than a moment ago, but she stull firmly held her spell over you.

After a moment, she speaks up, her anger returning to the surface. "Why should I listen to a thing you say?" She does not project her thoughts as you do. Her overflowing emotions are probably making ot hard to concentrate. Or maybe this actually was helping her let it all out? Either way, you were not dead, so there was that. "You are a filthy dog, and nothing else! I thought you might have been more than that, but THIS says otherwise!" She angirly shoves the picture so far into your face that it touches your right eye.

"I... I am so sorry..." Truly believing what you projected, your eyes begin to water. You could see how much this truly hurt her. As much as she was a complete bitch when you first met, that night she exposed herself to you, in every way possible. Now you damages that trust. "Please... let me make it up to you!"
