Tegan gets her opportunity

raw goes by without incident and on NXT Kay lee successfully defends her title against Dakota kai.

Becky and Kaylee don't hear from Tegan the entire week.

finally as smackdown rolls around Becky, still in the hospital, watches on tv.

she watches as Tegan Nox walks down to the ring.

Becky also notices that Sonya Deville is at ringside.

she 's speaking heatedly to the ref.

Jessicka car is shaking her head and Sonya keeps smacking her open palm 3 times.

finally Jessicka walks away and Sonya calls over a male ref and seems to have the same conversation, smacking her palm 3 times.

the ref nods and gets in the ring.

"now I wonder what that was about.." Becky wonders aloud.

"the following match is for the smack down women' s championship! introducing first Tegan Nox!"

Becky smiled.

"oh! a title match! go get her Tegan!" Becky said as she watched.

she watched as Gigi made her entrance holding her title aloft as the crowd boos.

the match begins and Becky notices that Tegan is wrestling much more aggressively now.

Tegan nearly got disqualified because she wouldn't release a chin lock.

Becky pursed her lips.

"this isn't like ya Tegan." she said quietly as she watched.

as Becky watched Tegan nailed the shiniest wizard and went for a pin.

as the ref counted to 3 Gigi put her foot on the 2nd rope.

the ref either didn't see or ignored it because he counted to 3.

"here is your winner and NEW smackdown women's champion Tegan Nox!"

the crowd cheered. apparently they didn't see it either.

Becky wanted to join in but she knew something was up.

Sonya climbed into the ring and hugged Tegan.

breathing hard, her chest glistening with sweat, Tegan took the mic from Sonya.

"I can't believe it! I did it! I'M the smackdown women's champion!"

Tegan gazed at the title in her hands teary eyed.

the crowd began to chant, "you deserve it! you deserve it!"

Tegan wiped her eyes.

"I want to thank the woman that never gave up on me, the woman that taught me never to give up on myself."

Becky smiled.

"SONYA DEVILLE. without her I wouldn't be your new champion!"

Becky gaped at the tv.

"what?! what did Sonya ever do fer ya?!"

then it dawned on her.

"oh Tegan, NO. ya DIDN'T." Becky whispered.

even as Becky watched Tegan drew Sonya into a passionate kiss.

"oh Tegan ya dirty sellout." Becky glowered.

as if she knew Becky's thoughts Tegan looked into the camera.

"oh and Becky lynch, you never did a DAMN thing but hold me back!" Tegan spat at the camera and the crowd began to boo.

Tegan Nox held the smack down title aloft and grinned as the crowd booed her.
