Teenage Sex and Death At Camp Miasma

AUTHOR'S NOTE: Mild spoilers for the movie ahead

A lesser known Indie movie from 2026, this movie is a meta commentary on the slasher genre. Hannah Einbinder plays Kris, a queer woman who is hired by a studio to reboot/re-imagine beloved (fictional) horror franchise Camp Miasma.

On her journey to create this movie, she consults the help of the actress who played the original final girl Billy, played by Gillian Anderson. Kris finds out Billy oddly lives at the real abandoned camp that was used to film the original Camp Miasma film, and together, they form a bond while breaking the story out over the course of a few days.
