“He is very charming!” MJ said with a smile.

“Some would say too charming,” Felicia piped in.

“Who knows, maybe if I met Peter before Scott, I’d be part of his little harem!” Jean said with a laugh. Everyone else followed with a laugh at Jean’s comment, but at the same time, Peter swore he saw a glare through the red glasses that covered Scott’s eyes.

“Now now! These two are already too much for me to handle,” Peter told the group. “I doubt I could handle a third girl,” he said with a laugh.

“Plus they’d have to survive the interview process,” Felicia said with a wicked smile.

“Oh yes. We will grill them real good,” MJ told the group. “I don’t even know if you’d pass our strict standards, Jean,” MJ said with a laugh.

“Oh my! I guess your wives have high standards for future members,” Jean said with a laugh.

“I’m not sure if you’re a lucky man or a cursed man, Parker,” Logan said in his gruff voice.

“Depends on the day,” Peter said with a laugh.

“Oh?” remarked MJ.

“We’re a curse some days?” asked Felicia.

“What? No! I didn’t mean it like that!” Peter said defensively.

“Then how did you mean it?” asked MJ.

“Well you see…” started Peter as he stumbled for words to say to appease his two wives.

“We’re waiting,” said a stern Felicia.

“Help please!” asked Peter to the group of mutants who were watching the events in front of them unfold.

“You’re on your own, bub. One thing I learned living 200 years is never get between two angry women and the person they’re angry at,” Logan said as he walked away.

“That would not be a sound tactical move, Peter,” was all Scott said.

“I agree with my husband,” Jean answered.

“Oh that must be nice, being a couple on the same page!” MJ said to the two.

“Right? At least two thirds of this couple are on the same page,” chimed in Felicia.

“So, like, are they being serious or just fucking with the guy?” asked Kitty.
“Ah have no clue. I’ve never dated anyone before,” Anna-Marie said.

“I think she’s just messing with him,” Sydney said. “MJ used to do that all the time during family get-togethers. She did it to practice her acting,” Sydney told her two friends.

“She’s doing a really good job,” Anna-Marie told the other two.

“Like, she’s such a great actress!” Kitty said in praise of Sydney’s cousin.

“I mean, that is her career,” pointed out Sydney.

“Think she’ll give me an autograph?” Kitty asked hopefully.

“Pretty sure she’d take you to the set if you asked,” replied Sydney.

“OH EM GEE! REALLY?” Kitty said loudly enough for everyone to hear.

“What’s up?” asked Jean.

“Oh uh..well...uh…” Kitty stammered now that everyone was looking at her.

“MJ, can Kitty come to the set of your show sometime?” asked Sydney. Kitty turned beet red as Sydney asked that question.

“Sure! In fact, anyone who wants to come is welcome! Felicia will make it happen, right babe?” asked MJ.

“Course I will. I am the best manager in the business!” she said with a wink.

“Didn’t you blackmail someone in Hollywood to get your manager job?” asked Peter.

“Shush, Petey. It doesn’t matter how I got the job, all that matters is I’m the manager to the future queen of Hollywood!” she said with a sparkle in her eye.

“OH EH GEE! I CAN’T BELIEVE I GET TO GO TO THE SET OF SECRET HOSPITAL WITH MARY-JANE WATSON-PARKER!” screamed Kitty, who was beyond excited.

“I believe you just made her year,” Jean told MJ with a warm smile.

“More like decade,” Scott chimed in.

“We, like, need to go shopping ASAP!” Kitty said as she turned to Sydney and Anna-Marie.

“Shopping? Count me in!” Felicia said happily.

“I’m game. You in, Jean?” asked MJ.
